So is they anything like a DVC ship program?

So I went into DVC and couldn’t find a plan to make financial sense for a person who does far more cruising and only a few days a decade of WDW park visit.
Do you know any other plans out there? With 13 ships wouldn’t there be something they could make now?
What would that plan look like? Who would benefit from that plan? The current plan is very Parks based. Do any cruise lines have a plan? I’d like to see what someone is doing for cruises so I can dream and make my case to the Bank…I mean my husband.

It is possible to use DVC points for Disney Cruises, but it is a very inefficient use of points. Many DVC members who want to apply their points on a cruise rent out the points to people staying at the parks and use the rental income to pay for a cruise fare.

That said, if you don't intend to visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland often, DVC is probably not for you.

I can't speak for other lines, but Disney Cruise ships typically sail full or almost full, so there is no need for Disney to use a time share program to fill the ships the way they do the resorts.

There are some cruise lines that offer long term cruising from months to years at sea. A timeshare like cruise program would be interesting. You buy in for say a week long cruise that you do every year with perhaps a choice of destinations.

That’s what I would like to think about. With 13 ships the sell out ratio might be lower than it is now.
I talked with Robin for an hour and we just kept seeing a loss with as much as we sail.
