So, How Many PIN Codes Have You Gotten Lately?

Four since last week, and I had not gotten one ever before!!!

I hear ya! Got another one today, making it 6 since Sept! All I did was call WDW to make an adjustment on our upcoming Christmas trip and next day, PIN.

Business must be a bit behind the usual occupancy rates to prompt them to send out this many discount codes.

I just got one today, my first since last year around this time. It's for November-December this year...I just got back from WDW 2 days ago! I'm hoping for one for either May 2010 or November/December 2010, those are the months I'm thinking of going next year.

I've gotten three 20-30-40s in the last couple weeks. I had four in January. I'd say I've gotten about 12 this year. Crazy!! I've only used a PIN once, and that was last December.

This is the first year I have received a pin and I've been on their Mailing list for a long time. they have sent me 5 this year I have used 3 of them, 2 for trips in 09 and the last one they sent I used for my April trip.

I've gotten 2 in the last month (the only ones I've ever gotten) and they are not to my regular account which I've had for a while but to a new account a made. I made the account with a different email and got the first code about a week later!

STILL never gotten one on my original email/account.

I have tried every thing in the book and even called to ask if
I had one in my Name and still nothing.
I put a Poll up and it looks like most of the people on the East coast and
South are getting most of the pins. I live in colorado we're not so
lucky--Disney must not want our business.

I have never gotten one either. I own DVC, so I can see why normally I wouldn't. But I have stayed on cash before DVC, and also on our trip this past October. I have also tried all the tips on here and still nothing. I want to stay 3 nights at CR before moving to the BWV in August, for my 20th anniversary, and a PIN would make a huge difference in being able to do that!

I have gotten pin codes in the past (we used one for our August 2008 trip - 40% off).

I have been doing the same things that other parties have been doing to get the 40% code for 2010. So far, no luck.

I decided to call WDW and asked if I had any codes attached to my name, and I had a 40% code for trips through about June 10, 2010. Unfortunately, the dates do not work for us, and I will not use that code. However, I never received anything (no emails, mail, etc.) about that pin code. I have been monitoring my emails carefully for some time hoping to get a pin so I do not believe that I missed it.

I am hoping for a 40% code for our August, 2010 trip (in fact, I will not stay onsite without one, given the great off site deals now available).

The only times I have ever gotten PINs is when I already had a trip booked at a better rate, or when I just came back and definitely couldn't afford to go again that soon!

We are also hoping for one to come up - we'd like to TRY for a deluxe. If not, we'll go on AAA rate and stay at a Val. I have no problem with that whatsoever!!

Early in 2009 I got something in the mail for WDW discounts - it had a bunch of balloons on it with various 2009 dates when the discount was applicable. I think it had a PIN code on it but I don't remember. I didn't pay much attention to it since 2009 was our "off" year for Disney. If it was a PIN code it was the first time I'd ever gotten one.

Just a few days ago I got the 2010 PIN e-mail from Disney Destinations with the 30/35/40 discounts.

The only reason I can think of for getting this PIN is I had a 2010 trip booked but then cancelled it. We were planning on going to WDW in 2010 since it is an "on" year for Disney. I booked our trip for October 2010 back in September and paid the depost. Then a few weeks ago DH & I were discussing finances and just couldn't justify spending $478/night at the Polynesian next year so I called to cancel the trip. The CM did ask me why I was cancelling and I just said we decided to vacation somewhere else next year.

When I got the PIN I re-booked our October 2010 trip; now we are paying $286/night at the Polynesian.
