I am stuck in a pork chop rut and I need something different! PLEASE?

So far I only know how to:

1) Shake & Bake 'em
2) Throw barbecue sauce on 'em

Can anyone bring some variety into my life? LOL.

I "bread" them with flour and spices and saute them until brown. Then put them in the oven at 400 for 10minutes to ensure they're cooked through/

I fry mine with a little EVOO and garlic salt and minced onions. Depending on their thickness then I sometimes have to stick them in the over to make sure they are cooked through. Yumo!

if they are large, cut a large slit in them and fill them with stuffing and bake. If they are smaller, put the stuffing in the bottom of the pan and lay the pork chops on top of it and bake them.

simmer them in gravy and serve them over a starch.

You know you can put them in th eoven unbrowned and spray some pam on them..The Pam will make them brown..It also makes them lower in fat

Super easy and yummy!

1) Spray 9X13 pan with Pam
2) Pour in just enough milk to cover the bottom
3) Peel and slice potatoes (enough to feed your family), put in pan, season with salt and pepper.
4) Place pork chops on top of potatoes
5) Pour cream of mushroom soup over the chops
6) Cover pan with foil and bake @ 375 for 45 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 15 minutes.

I bread mine as well. I use bisquick, crushed slatine crackers, and a little seasonings on them. Then I pan fry them using Pam. They taste marvleous with hot german potato salad and steamed green beans :teeth:

I recently made this recipe from allrecipes.com and it was a big hit with my fiance'. It was definitely restaurant quality and I am not much of a cook.

Pork Chops with Fresh Tomato, Onion, Garlic and Feta

INGREDIENTS:
2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced
4 pork loin chops, 1 inch thick
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
1/2 pint red grape tomatoes, halved
1/2 pint yellow grape tomatoes, halved
3 cloves garlic, diced
1 tablespoon dried basil
2 1/2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DIRECTIONS:
Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the onion and cook until golden brown. Set aside.
Heat 1/2 tablespoon oil in the skillet. Season pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and place in the skillet. Cook to desired doneness. Set aside and keep warm.
Heat remaining oil in the skillet. Return onions to skillet, and stir in tomatoes, garlic, and basil. Cook and stir about 3 minutes, until tomatoes are tender. Mix in balsamic vinegar, and season with salt and pepper. Top chops with the onion and tomato mixture, and sprinkle with feta cheese to serve.

This is the only way I will eat pork chops. It's delicious!
Dip chops in beaten egg and then Italian seasoned bread crumbs. Brown in olive oil and then place in baking dish with several drops of water. Cover with foil and bake for an hour and a half at 300.

Weiner Schitzel (Veener Shnitzl) - this recipe was brought back from Germany by an army wife friend of my mom's MANY years ago...

Pork Chops
Eggs, Beaten in a Bowl for dipping
Bread Crumbs
Butter
Meat Tenderizing Mallet

Beat the pork chops w/ the mallet until they're so thin you can practically see through them, dip in egg, then bread crumbs, and fry in butter (or margarine). aside from the beating of the pork chops, this is obscenely easy, goes with any side dish and SO delicious, you won't know what hit you!

San Francisco style! Brown pork chops and a couple of cloves of minced garlic in a little oil. Make sauce and pour over chops ( 2 t oil, 4 T sherry, 4 T soy sauce, 2 T brown sugar, 1/4 t crushed red pepper), cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove chops and thicken sauce with 2 t cornstarch mixed in 2 T cold water. Serve on a bed of noodles.

Put Adobo seasoning on them then cook them on my George.

Season with salt, pepper, granulated garlic and thyme.
Brown in fry pan on both sides (about 1 min. each side)
Place in baking dish
In fry pan melt 2 Tbsp butter
Add 2 Tbsp flour until incorporated in the butter
Then add 1 can chicken broth and 1/4 cup Wine (I prefer Shiraz)
Simmer until thickened, add salt, pepper and thyme to taste.

Quarter potatoes and place on top of pork chops, poor gravy over top. Cover and bake 45-60 minutes at 375.

I've also added broccoli pieces or quartered cabbage pieces for a veggie.

mix equal parts brown sugar and yellow mustard and spread over the chops and bake

I dip them in italian dressing then roll them in bread crumbs and bake 'em.....about 25-30 minutes at 350°

dip em in egg , flour , and fry em up

cook over potatoes in the oven with cream of mushroom and brown gravy mix

I just season them (I get a lot of good seasonings from Penzey's) and cook them on the foreman grill. Season Salt is my hubby's fave

These ingredients don't sound like they would work, but the chops are awesome:

2 T butter
6 boneless chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
¼ c ketchup (I use Heinz 57 for some zip)
2 ½ t Worcestershire sauce

Mix soup, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce and set aside
Melt butter over med-hi heat
Brown chops on both sides
Top with sliced onions
Pour soup mixture over chops/onions
Cover and simmer 40-60 minutes until meat is no longer pink

I usually serve them over noodles with some type of salad or steamed veggie.
