so has anyone used the SixFlags season pass to go to several parks?

I know for a fact that you can use your season parking at any six flags and not have to pay for parking again. We live in NJ but purchased our season pass in MD because it was only $49 instead of $99. We took a road trip to D.C. and validated our passes. This year, we were able to renew online and the passes came to us validated with the same pictures on them from last year. I got the season parking on my pass and we never pay to park in the NJ park. It says it right on the website that season pass parking is transferable to all the other parks.

What a fun idea! Not sure if you are looking for comments on the differences in the parks, or just "should you do it." I can only comment on Gurnee and St. Louis. Had the passes from living in Gurnee and then moved to MO so finished out the season at the St. Louis park. There is an awesome Scooby Doo ride at the St. Louis park (not at Gurnee) that seems similar to the Buzz Lightyear ride at Disney in that you shoot at targets during the ride to get a score, and we thought about getting passes again this year for that ride alone (DS6 LOVED it!). St. Louis also has lots of kids rides that are maybe the same ride mechanics but a different theme, and lots more costumed superheros roaming around. The St. Louis water area is horrible, though, compared to Gurnee. I would skip it entirely. Set up is okay with slides and such, but St. Louis water park section is WAY more crowded (much hotter in St. Louis and not as much to do in surrounding area). Also, Gurnee park is much flatter and you don't get as tired as St. Louis which is WAY hilly...so make sure you wear proper footwear. Also, St. Louis does not offer as much shade in the lines as Gurnee, so make sure you're hydrated.

Remember when you go that you can't carry food in like at Disney and that you have to pay a dollar to check a bag on the big coasters.

Have a great time, and happy hunting for the deals! :goodvibes

That's sad about Six Flags over Texas, but not entirely unexpected. (My dad always told me stories of going to Six Flags over Texas as a kid!) Six Flags St. Louis was allowed to be run down for several years, but the chain has spent some money on it recently (especially the kids area and a new coaster), and its become a much better park for it too. I agree though their water park is MUCH too small. As far as coasters don't overlook Screamin' Eagle, its not big and tall, but its lots of fun.

The new CEO Six Flags has has been implementing some changes to their parks and last year we definitely had a better experience, customer service-wise. I think they got rid of all lot of their baggage, (aka sold a lot of their less performing parks like Darien Lake), and seem to be doing better because of it.
