I think the Feds may have to step in and regulate points as a "controlled substance", because apparently there is a real addiction risk involved. Heck, we barely made it six months between our initial contract (BCV) and our add-on (also BCV).

Notice that I didn't say "first" add-on. That's because I'm sure there will only be one add-on...I mean surely I can beat this thing... HEY! PUT THAT CONTRACT DOWN!...

Sam, just wait until your first trip home! The add-on addiction is one that is hard to resist. We bought a whole bunch of points on the first go around because we thought we had it "all figured out", just buy enough points to begin with and you won't have to do all those costly add-ons. Well we have done 2 add-ons so far and all of our contracts are at BCV.

That's about how long I made it. We bought our initial contract in March. Our first family trip to BCV is coming up in about two weeks, but my wife and I were able to have a brief stay in a BCV studio at the end of September.

I guess I pretty much caught the fever then...I was on the phone to my guide about two weeks later. (Hey, I held out for two weeks at least.

)

Hmmm, so you're telling me that's how it works? And now I'm about to go back... Uh,oh.

sheryl, we did the add on through Disney. We just returned 12/16 from our first trip "home." We purchased BCV sight unseen in February (we were the first contract written) and this trip was great. We fell in love with our 1br. A couple months back when we got the letter telling us that the price/pt was going up in Dec. I tried to get my husband to purchase; he did not think we should. Well, all it took was this trip, and he was saying that maybe when we get home we should add on! IT'S ADDICTING! But an addiction I am proud to boast about!
