SO excited -- just booked first trip!

Fall Break at US/IOA and Sea World!! We love Disney, but have been anxiously awaiting our first trip to Universal. I love the idea of staying onsite with Universal Express. We will be at RPH Oct. 1 - 5. Hope to pick up a day, maybe a day and a half at Sea World.

Wow, and you didn't even mention HHN. Do you realize that on Thursday and Friday, the parks will close early, and you can visit for HHN? Yes, it's an extra ticket, but the event is amazing. The best advice for HHN is to be in the park with your ticket at the Stay and Scream area. At least that way you can get thru the soundstage houses before the crowd hits. Or you buy the express booklet and that helps. Don't worry, there will be a bunch of threads with info as the time approaches.

Take it from me, this board and all the people here helped me out a great deal when planning our first trip to Universal in 2001. The information was overwhelming, but it served its purpose. The people here are great, and will answer any of your questions. Its all because of this board that we are returning again this December for the 3rd time in 6 years. Thats saying a lot for my husband and I.

I have found the folks on this board to be VERY helpful! Thank you all so much, and I will try not to make a nuisance of myself before October. I doubt we will do HHN. We have an 11-yo DD, and she is not crazy about super scary stuff!!

RPR is excellent, we stayed there 3 yrs ago and revisiting in May and cant wait.
FOTL is amazing, and you feel guilty bypassing the queues after a while - but suppose that is what we have paid for.
Has anyone suggested becoming a LoewsFirst member? Its free and means a separate hotel check in queue, and some freebies.
