So confused- IOA does EPA- so we start there both days and run back to US?

With EPA I don't want to miss any time at the park. Considering starting at IOA on Saturday at 8 am...doing a bit then taking hogswar express back to US and going and finishing up there...

we have EPA and express pass tickets. Plan on going back to IOA in the pm to explore and spend time and then coming back to Diagon alley to explore again in the pm...


This is our first time our family at US/IOA. 8 and 9.5 year old Harry Potter crazy girls. want to get in some of the popular non harry potter rides early to avoid lines then spend the rest of the time exploring Wizarding world

Hi there, we just returned (Harry Potter crazed 8 and 10 year old daughters). US was set for EE each day, so we did two days at US and one day at IOA, simply getting to the gate 45 minutes early. The park opened at 8:45 (scheduled to open at 9) so we walked on Forbidden Journey. I would definitely recommend this approach. I researched, and doing EE and taking the HE will put you behind the crowd. Both parks should be experienced first thing, before there are crowds. Also, if you can, hang back after closing. Nothing is open, but for the 15 minutes after everything closes and before you are urged to leave, Diagonal and Hogsmeade are literal magic.
