Snowglobe Collections

I'm sure there have been many threads on this, but the search function and I just don't get along (if someone can point me to an older thread, that would be great).

Anyway, I'd love to hear about or especially, see pictures of anyone's snowglobe collection!

My collection is pretty small, I only have five snowglobes. I'll try and post pictures at some point!

Just bought an adorable snowglobe at the Disneystore. It looks like an old fashioned radio. It has Jiminy Cricket in the globe. It also has Tink, Snow White, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Alice, Dopey, Mickey, Pinocchio, Bambi. The globe lights up and it plays " When You Wish Upon a Star"..the snow blows around automatically.

Was kind of expensive($99) but I love it ...I'll take some pics and post them soon. It said Disneystore Exclusive on the box..

I just tried to find the thread I'd had last year that had a ton of snowglobe pictures people had posted. No luck though.

I like yours. That's really neat looking.
I'll post a few of mine when photobucket lets me log in. I've got about 15 right now. I'm having to be alot more selective about the ones I buy since I'm running out of space for them.

My DD7 collects snowglobes, both Disney and non-Disney. She has 3 large Disney ones (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and Jasmine, and Princesses), as well as a few smaller ones. The newest one is a musical one I got at Disneyland that plays "Small World," one of her favorite attractions. In terms of other snowglobes, she is trying to collect snowglobes from all over the country and world. Her snowglobe from farthest away is from Seoul, Korea, a gift from some friends whose daughter is a missionary there. We also have a friend who is in Australia, who is planning on bringing one back from there, too. Her goal is to collect 100 snowglobes (we're up to about 27 now, and runnning out of room!)

I wish I had pictures to share, but mine aren't displayed at this time. Will correct that soon as we've ordered a new curio specifically for my Disney stuff and are trying to find a shelving unit as well. I'll try to remember all the ones I have.

Contemporary Disney characters (90s onward) with, I think, Mickey in the center globe [Disney Store]

Mulan with her father under the blooming trees [Disney Store]. This was the first globe I ever owned.
Tinkerbell/Castle double globe from the 50th [WDW]
Multi-character with the Fab 4 in the center globe; monorail runs around the base [WDW]
Stitch in a teleportation tube [DisneyShopping.com]
Stitch reading to the ducklings [DisneyShopping.com]
An angry Donald shaking his fists over Chip and Dale in the center globe [DisneyShopping.com]
Cinderella and Prince Charming [a local specialty store, years ago]
Belle and the Beast [DisneyShopping.com]
Where Magic Lives, Sorcerer Mickey looming over a globe with all 4 park icons inside, resting on a black cauldron [WDW]

Medium sized globes I have are:
Goofy, Donald, and Mickey in 1920s style baseball uniforms, in a globe "held" by a baseball glove [WDW: Team Mickey in DTD]
Stitch at the beach [WDW]
Mickey and 4 parks snowglobe [WDW]
Castle with Tinkerbell and fireworks somehow plastered on the back side to make it look like she's flying over the castle [WDW]
Wilderness Lodge character totem pole [WDW]

Small snowglobes I have are:
Aladdin and Jasmine with the Genie [WDW]
Winnie with bees and a honey pot [WDW]
Tigger standing beside a globe of Roo [Disney Store]
Tinkerbell with a perfume bottle [WDW]
Safari Mickey [WDW]
Countless others from drugs stores, Walmart, etc., like Winnie with an Easter egg and a baby chick

Whoops, some of the pics game out too big.

The antique store where I got it called it a dessert caddy. I fell in love and had to have it. When I got it home, I figured out that my snowglobes would fit on it perfectly.
At least I won't be gaining weight with those.

After telling myself I wasn't going to get anymore snowglobes, I found one I loved at World of Disney a couple of weeks ago. I had to add it to my collection.

Hello all!
Our amazing school librarian is retiring and I overheard her talking about wanting to find the Beauty and the Beast in the Library Snowglobe. I searched Ebay for this and could'nt find. I have found a couple of photos of these snowglobes (at least 2 or 3 different ones).

Has anyone seen them recently? We NEED it, it will be a gift from the library volunteer moms. Need it asap.
