just curious, we are semi-snowbirding this year. jan 4 to 30, so we are at DVC now. hopefully next year a little longer.
anyone else here now that is snowbirding?

I would love to do that! Unfortunately that pesky little thing like DH's job gets in the way -- the nerve ! The best we can do now is 10 days starting next week. Maybe when he retires......
I'm here from early December until late February. I move around alot, staying at all the DVC's at WDW and several offsite timeshares (mostly the Hilton's and Marriott's in Orlando and a Hyatt in Bonita Springs), spend Christmas week at relatives that live near Tampa, and go to the beach for the weekend once in awhile.
Friends come down from up north to get away from the cold once in awhile (some are here now), and my Tampa relatives come over once in awhile also.
That is our DREAM!!! Once the kids are both in college, we are planning to either use all those dvc points on one long vacation or lots of weeks throughout the year!!! ENJOY!!!

We're in the planning stages! Still weighing the DVC option to maybe an inexpensive condo or manufactured home. Nothing beats on-site, but I'm worried about long-term availability as membership continues to increase
Planning a trip this year ..... from January 17th to Feb 12th. Would stay longer but have to atten a job fair on Feb 13th for a great part time job for the summer. Will be staying at DVC and Marriots.

It has never been the point count that scares me . . it is the maintenance fees that somehow trail along with them, , , , like a little brother that just can't seem to leave you and your girlfriend alone . . .
We've now got enough points to swing a stay at OKW for the whole month of January in a 1 bedroom and plan on doing that once the kids are out of the house. One trip at BWV my wife had a conversation with another woman. She said they come for six weeks every Jan/Feb, she stays and her husband comes down for Fri-Mon very week.
