Oh...my ADR day is May 17.....and TGM should have the best park days by then..so I will be working next week on the PLAN and see if I need to change anything.....so far...I am thinking:
Sat~arrival/hang out at BC/kids might even swim.... I hope to meet Shelly that day!!! She is at the BWI and won't leave until evening!!! Imagine! A real live meeting with Mama Snowbird!!
Sun~MK--if they have the MVMCP that night, we will just go back to the BC or hit Epcot for a TS dinner. Unless the kids wanna swim again
Mon~ DHS---We have always done this park on a Monday...not sure why....wondering about the F! show....my youngest son really wants to see it. I have decided against the package tho.....not interested. Asked the sweet CM yesterday if she thought the crowd that week would be where we could just get seats an hour before the show.....she said more than likely...she didn't see where it would be a problem then. Of course, if they provide 2 shows we would go to the later one. But, it the parks are kinda dead, would they even do 2? BUT....if Osborne lights are up, they may want to do that instead....either one is fine with me...but we usually only spend one whole day/evening there...if we go back it would be a 1/2 day and have dinner at Epcot.
Tues~Wed~Thur~Fri~Not sure....one day will be laundry day/pool day and general hang around day for sure!! One day will be Epcot all day--Future World early for Soaring and the rides.....WS for characters and country exploration!! Sat we usually do DTD to shop, but I am considering doing it on Fri and Sat doing whatever park is looking slow crowd wise.... Sun we will probably do a flight where we can have a breakfast at Cape May Cafe then get shuttled to the airport...last time we came in SOOOO late we were all dead on Monday! And doing MK right before we leave is even more depressing to me! I need to say my goodbyes the night before! I know I am soooo weird!! But, I am a sap!
I am gonna squeeze a Spectro/Wishes night in there somewhere. Probably skip the MVMCP again.....of course since we are so close, we gotta see Illuminations! So..that's stage I of my mini PTR.....exclusively for you guys!! ha!!

We have a super late flight home that day, so we will be around most of the day. . . Have you looked at airfare yet??? What time to you expect to arrive at the BC?

I haven't gotten a darn thing since our last trip. I've fooled around on the website, priced things out, etc. and still nothing. I can't really use one but I feel left out.

I'm trying to talk DH into a short trip to take his Dad as soon as he is finished with chemo but I doubt it will happen. My FIL saw the pics from our last trip and is feeling very remorseful that he didn't go with us. He said if we go next year to count him in. He has never been and said he wants to go if we go next year again. I truly hope he's still here and well enough to do it but realistically he probably won't be. I think next May will be too late.

Shelly....I did look...right now they are still fairly high...$305 RT...but they usually have one leaving at 9:30 and 10:45. So...we will try for one of those...which puts us in Fl 1:45 their time....getting to our resort depends on ME....usually about an hour or so....3 maybe? YIKES!!! I hope so!!!That's if we do the 10:45 flight....the 9 might be better for us...I am not gonna be sleeping good anyway! Might as well get up and go!!!!

I did that and ordered the 2010 planning video and then got the PIN.....maybe that would help....Yep, if your FIL feels like he has the strength to go I would try to do it....after Sept tho...that humidity would be too much for him...Oct is still pretty hot and muggy...Nov sounds good to me!!!

Yup, I saved 'em alright! Saved quite a few of them. Still nothing. I ordered the 2010 DVD a while back too- that's how DH caught me and knew I was starting to make plans for another trip. Last time I didn't get any pins until after I made a room only ressie. Then they sent them to me left and right trying to get me to book a package.

Shelly- November sounds marvelous! The sooner the better to get back to Disney. I have hope but realistically the doctors gave him 6 months tops and that was 2 months ago so I don't want to get my hopes up. Who knows though- God just might have a miracle for him yet!

We went to eat at a new place...it was really good--I got a salad with pears, gorgonzola (sp?) cheese, a few nuts and chicken! AWESOME!!! Then we went to a dessert place...he's a coffee dude, so he got a latte and we split ahuge piece of German Chocolate Cake!!! YUM!!! He bought me waayyy to much!! Ha!! But I loved it!! A new charm for my Brighton charm bracelet:the Cinderella coach!!!!!! And a 1 and a 6 for 16 years....a VB beach towel, flip flops and the Pleated Tote in Sittin in a Tree!!!!!!! And a gift card to the book store!!!!! I got him new shirts, shoes (dress/casual) Bookstore gift card, and a package of some Kona coffee....which I will not partake of!!!!! It was a great evening!!! We had a wonderful time!!!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful night. Tony and I are trying to find a day to celebrate our anniversary (it's on Tues, the 27th). The team I dance for has their last regular season game on Sat the 24th. My sis and BIL are taking Madison overnight so we can hang out together after the game. It's just the postgame party at a downtown restaurant/bar, so it's nothing too special. The following weekend, Tony is flying down to Tallahassee for his brother's college graduation. He'll be gone Thursday through Monday. While he's gone, I'll be going to my cousin's bridal shower in Syracuse. The weekends in May are quite full too. We don't usually buy each other anything for our anniversary. We usually like to go out to a nice dinner or something like that instead.

I was going to buy him concert tickets this year as a surprise, but I had to tell him about it. He brought it up the other night that he'd like to go see them with one of his friends. The tickets went on sale today, so I told him to just buy them. I said that could count as his anniversary present. He knows that I want a new Vera Bradley hipster in Call Me Coral and I said it could be my anniversary AND Mother's Day gift. Maybe even part of my birthday present. We'll see what happens!

Are there any events that occur at WDW over the first week of December? Is that Pop/Warner? I'm starting to price things out (based on this year's packages) and cost wise think that the week after Thanksgiving would be better than the second week of November.

Yup - Pop Warner is the first full week of December. There is also the Disney Christmas parade taping at MK and that's the first weekend in December. We were there last December for both events. Our first weekend was 12/5 and that's when they were doing parade taping. It was supposed to be Friday a.m. but it rained so they kept postponing it until it was going on Sunday a.m. The Pop Warner event I think they all arrived on 12/6 Sunday. I didn't see too much of it, but others did. Shawna had some big crowds of cheerleaders. If you stay at All Stars they will be there and one of the mods. I'd be most concerned if I were staying where they were. My solution - just go Deluxe!!! You'll be far away! LOL!

Two of the other pilots are big hunters and typically take that week off. Since he makes up the schedule, hopefully DH can get in there first and secure the days.

Typically the parade taping runs around the hub and main street and is supposed to be done in the morning. Kathy from the DIS podcast went last year and reported on the waiting, delays etc for those who were to be in the crowd scenes. Maybe check to find that podcast. MK would be very crowded and hard to get around that day would be my guess. As it turned out in 2009, they ended up taping a lot on sunday and that was our MVMCP day. We didn't go to the park until 4:30 and it was jammed. Shawna was there that day and said it was super crowded.

I'd say you're safe at the deluxe from the cheerleaders. I think it's because they are loud and run at various hours of the night, clog up the food courts etc. that people say to avoid their resorts.

I'd check - you can google pop warner- and see if they are there the week of 12/5 - 11 this year. But I would think the week after Thanksgiving would be great. That's what we had planned to do last year, but our cruise offer wasn't good that week.

Look - 100 days for me!!! I'm going to start that PTR today so I can celebrate double digits right away!!! I NEED A TITLE!!!!
