We got the TSM Wii game yesterday. We had pre-ordered it! It is so much fun. We have 2 wii remotes, the game can have up to 4 players. We played 2 player games - there are 3- D glasses as well !!! Yeehaw! ( as jesse would say!) There are so many games and each is so much fun!
I recommend the Wii to anyone that does not have it!

sarbah77, I would think as long as you can play from a couch or a chair you should be fine playing the TSM Wii game. I got pulled away after the 3rd game b/c DH needed my help putting out the ant posion. I started playing by myself and after 2 games, John saw how much fun it was and asked to play along. The first game I barely beat him on. The next one we tied on, and the 3rd on he beat the heck out of me on. Of course on the last one, he wouldn't have beat me as badly if I had actually been aiming at balloons most of the time instead of shooting wildly. Playing just the little I did, my knee started hurting. I think it was mainly due to me standing stationary too long with my weight more on one knee than the other though.

Personally I always pack extra clothes. I know there are washers and dryers, but why take away from your trip in order to use them. Most of all though, HAVE FUN!!!

Sarah, have a magical trip! pixiedust: Give Pluto a hug for me! :goodvibes

OK, y'all have convinced me that we should get a Wii for Christmas! Of course the boys have been asking for one for a couple of years (poor deprived children, they still have to play on their PS2 ). But if there's a TSMM game...now I want one too! ;) I'm bummed that there are no GameStops in Belgium. That's where our PS2 and most of our games came from. Maybe I'll check ebay.

Yeah, it looks like the closest Game Stop to Belgium is Düsseldorf, Germany. I wonder if their website ships internationally? Depending on what they charge for shipping, it may work for you. They even have their "pre-owned" games on-line.

Our boys were the same way. They had a Xbox 360, but they (and me too) wanted a Wii since they came out. My DH refused to get one, b/c he thought (by hearing it from someone) they were crappy. I really think his main problem was that he knew with the Wii, he couldn't sit on his rear to play a game, but had to actually get up off it. The only reason we have one is b/c his nephew let our boys bother it, and then ended up letting them keep it.

We just bought a Wii about 2 weeks ago (we bought a new one at Game Stop for a great price). It came with Wii Sports (bowling, tennis, etc), Wii Play, 2 regular remotes and 1 nunchuck. I wouldn't worry about buying additional nunchucks until you buy a game that needs it. We don't like the boxing game on Wii Sports, so we don't even use ours.

We also bought Mario Kart and it came with the Wii wheel. When Madison and I play against each other, I let her use the wheel and I just use the regular remote. Game Stop does sell their own wheels for $9.99. We bought the classic controller too because we downloaded a whole bunch of old classic Nintendo and Super Nintendo games (you need the classic controller for the Super Nintendo games).

I definately plan on buying the Toy Story game for Madison's birthday (10/15). I know she's going to love it.

Congrats to everyone playing TSMania already!!!! :goodvibes I have a feeling DH may be getting it for my birthday at the end of the month so I think I'll be waiting a little longer. Glad to hear it's so much fun!

I spent yesterday cleaning the germs out of my house. DD had a fever of 103.7 on Tuesday. I knew it was coming since a couple of my daycare kids have been out with it already. Tuesday night was so loooong and DD, DS and I ended up sleeping in until 8:20. Not so much fun when DS needed to be on the school bus at 8:40. Fever is gone and today is a much better day thank goodness. :goodvibes

DS10 came home from school Friday with a fever of 101.5. :sad2: Couldn't believe it, 4 days of school and he was sick already. He was better by Sunday. Then Monday 7 kids were absent in his classroom.

So I have done like you and have cleaned the heck out of this house and everything he touched!

Your kids get on the bus at 8:40?! Wow, our bus comes at 7:20! :scared1:

When my DS10 rode the bus the year before last, the bus picked him up at our house right at 6:20 AM. My poor little man was the first stop of the day, b/c the bus barn is not far from where we live.

We live within a half mile of the school but there are no sidewalks in the country  so he's the last to be picked up and the first to be dropped off after school. His school day starts at 9am and they dismiss at 3:30. I wish it were an earlier start. My kids are up by 7 at the latest. It's nice though because he's slow in the morning and likes to relax before getting going- takes after his mama :rolleyes1

Thanks!! Bowling is a lot easier standing up, so I wasn't sure if TSMM would be similar!

In the end, I tossed an extra shirt in! :)

6:20 WOW  And I thought 7:20 was too early!! :rotfl:

Our school starts at 8:00 and they are done at 2:20. I like having them come home so early, but the mornings sure are rough sometimes!

Oh my, you guys have a short school day compared to ours. Joey starts school at 7:45 and is out at 2:45. John starts at 8:00 and is out at 3:00. The school Joey goes to is less than 10 years old. When the KISD bought the land from the City of Fort Worth it was with the understanding they would widen the small 1 lane each way, no shoulder or sidewalk road the Intermediate and Middle schools would be on. Well the only part of the road the expanded was the part right in front of the schools. Joey could technically walk to school, but with no shoulder or sidewalk, I refuse to let him. They have busing from our sub-division, but I figure since I'm doing the stay at home mom thing, I can take him. Well that and the fact that my boys are usually eating their doughnuts as I drive them to school.

Thanks!! Bowling is a lot easier standing up, so I wasn't sure if TSMM would be similar!

Last night, I tried playing while sitting. I was sitting on the floor, so it wasn't like sitting in a chair or couch exactly. There were a few things that I did find easier if I was standing. However, most of it can easily be done sitting.

And I forgot to mention that on Wednesdays- EVERY Wednesday- DS is done at 2:00. I like Wednesdays and wish he were out everyday that early. :lovestruc He's still struggling with the whole day school thing. It doesn't leave him much time in the evening freetime. He comes home and rushes to play Legos. I think he misses his toys more than he misses me!

Yes, the all day thing is rough. Where we lived when DS10 started kindergarten was all day K. What a nightmare. Our school here has half day K. That was wonderful. DS7 was home at 11:15. But it was still quite an adjustment when he went to all day first grade last year. But he was fine after about the first month or so. So hang in there, he'll get used to it!

Well I waited until the boys got home to play the TSM Wii game. It is so much fun!!! I swear I'm not going to get any schoolwork done b/c I can see me getting obsessed. I haven't been back to WDW since the TSMM ride opened, but if it's anything as fun as this, we will have to ride it several times.
I can't wait to get that game!! Ha:yay:

Sarah!!!!!! Yay for you!!!!!:yay::yay: have a wonderful trip and know that we are waiting for good pictures!!! Ha!!!!

I can't wait until Christmas for tihs Wii!!! We LOVED TSMM - its one of our DS's favorite rides, so I'm super excited about the game. :thumbsup2
