Happy belated bday to Sarah, and to your little sweetie Kathy!!!
How are all of you doing? Seems like I have been hit or miss on here lately...maybe we can all get back to chatting now that holidays are over and school/work have resumed! We have all managed to stay well over this season of up and down weather...but last night was tough!! I had felt all day like I was coming down with something and yesterday evening my head starting pounding...I still have a headache and just feel weird. I have been taking Mucinex, but did Echinacea and Vit C yesterday... I guess I will whip out the excedrine later,...yuck....and of course I have had a million things to do yesterday and today.
My ds16 went back to school on Tues,...we were suppose to start yesterday, but I just felt too bad...and then when ds12 got up, he had a runny nose and his eyes were all red and watery-we tried to start with his math, and he just couldn't do it...I think we will just do whatever reading we can in bed today and try it again tomorrow!! I hate feeling like this...you can't really say you are "sick", but you feel like crud...

Happy New Year! I am trying to keep up. Seems like life won't slow down for me lately. I didn't even have time to send out Christmas cards this year. I felt like such a bah humbug but I just didn't have time.

Shawna- Hope everyone is healthy at your house soon! We've had it a terrible cold here too. I started feeling better but am now thinking it's turning into a sinus infection. I'm fighting it with everything I can- echinacea, zinc, vitamin c, nothing seems to want to kick it out of my sinus!

Hey girls! just wanted to say hi...the weather here is soo weird! Last weekend it was 75 or so,..it rained tons and tons yesterday thumbsup2 we need it!), cold front coming thru, now it's 50, in a couple of mornings it'll be 29 or 30 again! So weird...you never know how to dress down here....hope this year is treating you all well so far! I know getting back into a school/work routine has been good this year! Just wanted to have a little chat with my birdies!!!

Hey birdies!!! I am enjoying our balmy January weather! Really! It's been ridiculously warm for MN January. Might have a record high today and I think I'll take a walk at lunch! Got to break in my new shoes for my Europe trip!

I bought a pair of Timberland hiking style shoes with Gore-Tex so my feet will be dry and warm!

Lots of busy weekends in my future! Must get organized and stay on top of things. That's my New Year's resolution!!!

It's been very warm for January here in PA too! Late last week it was in the upper 50's. It's a little cooler now, in the low 40'5 today I think. But I'll take it! I'm just worried we are going to have to pay for this with a very nasty Feb-Mar-April.

In other news -- We decided to take advantage of the spring room only offer and booked the BC for May!!

It's been very warm for January here in PA too! Late last week it was in the upper 50's. It's a little cooler now, in the low 40'5 today I think. But I'll take it! I'm just worried we are going to have to pay for this with a very nasty Feb-Mar-April.

Our weather here in Indiana has been crazy, too. So warm in fact, that my flowers are poking through the ground! Of course, we're supposed to get snow tomorrow and freezing cold temperatures, so I can say bye-bye to them. I have to say, I think I'm ready for the snow. It'll come just in time for Indy to host the SuperBowl!

Congrats on your trip! We were originally looking at the end of May, but now that we have a more "balanced" school schedule (basically 9 weeks of school, 2 weeks off), we're planning a trip in the fall. So excited!!!

That sounds like heaven!!! I wish I could get my DH on board with some kind of getaway for the two of us. He'd never agree to WDW w/o kids, so maybe somewhere like Vegas....


The winter weather has return to MN. High today: 14 with windhchill of 8 below or something ludicrous. Tuesday it was 50 and I was out walking at lunch. Go figure.

Hey Andrea...sounds amazing,..but we are like Dave,..dn't know if we could do Disney without the kids!! Our Anniv is in April, I would sure love for us to take a 3 day trip for it!! I can't think of anything else I would wanna do, or wanna go!!! Shelly was talking on her thread about people going to Disney for their 40th bdays,...I would love to do that, but my bday is the last week of July and I have been there that week and would NEVER do it again!! Tooooo dang hot and waaaay too many people,...maybe I should go to Ireland or something! LOL...bet it's a lot cooler in July than it will be at my house!! I still have a couple of years to think about it tho!

[I'm not gonna lie. Going to disney without the kids is hard. we did it for an anniversary for 5 days 3 yrs ago. it was too long. This trip is just 3 days and only 1 disney day. Also, we arent telling the girls where we are going.COLOR="Green"][/COLOR]

Winter has returned here to WI. GRRRR.

Snowing...no idea really how much we are going to get, amounts keep changing. Right now we have 4-5" and it's suppose to snow all night....score.

Everyone has to learn how to drive again in this...I love watching people slide through interestions as they talk on the cell phone.
