Sheree, I'm heading your way in August. A good friend of mine has family connections to the president of the Twins and got some tickets for the Twins/Red Sox game on Aug 10!! I'm beyond thrilled! We will be sitting in The Legends Club Section P row 6. I've been looking at the website and those look like good seats. Any imput?

Jealous! The Red Sox are here in Detroit for Memorial Day Weekend. So are my baseball hating inlaws (booo).

But, Sheree, to pile on... we're thinking about heading your way for the 23rd of October, which is (in theory) the Packers v. Vikings game.




Unrelated... In 53 days, I'm going to be back with the Mouse! Today, it hit me and I finally started getting SUPER excited. Nothing unusual happened today but OH BOY.

The club level is great!! They have better food options too! Your seats are just a bit lower and closer to home than ours - great view! You will love it! You will have a nice view of the skyline as it gets darker in the evening.

Until today, I just haven't been excited. The heat. The crowds. The whole family. My stupid injury. But now... OKAY! Let's GO!

I say, make this a bit more of a "poolside" vacation!! It will be nice! Of course, when it's really hot, the pool water is pretty warm! A nice frozen cocktail will help!

Hey Shawna! We are doing okay. A little better. It's been a tough few months. We are very much looking forward to this vacation! I don't think we are doing any type of countdown calendar or anything this time. I don't want to wish our summer break away!! I am probably going to start my PTR next week or so though.

I had a nice visit with Kim last night at a mall!! We walked and shopped and visited for about an hour and then she had to meet her friends again for dessert before they were off to Target and their hotel. So of course I picked up a couple pieces of cheesecake to go and brought them home!

It was nice to see her and visit a bit! She looks great (love the long hair!). Sorry, no pictures this time! Too bad we didn't have more time or have the families but we'll do that again when they pass through town on their Disney trip!!!

Sorry Shawna - I'm no help on the HDDR thing. Maybe some of those dinner shows have to be on the phone? I don't recall doing that for Spirit of Aloha though...

J went to Mankato State. Or, uh, Minnesota State University at Mankato (or whatever it's called these days!).

I think it's going to be more of a pool-like vacation. Or at least I'm hoping, but I'm not sure my brain won't go HOLY COW DISNEY DISNEY DISNEY! I'm trying to prep myself, now!

In fact, my poor husband actually said "you're starting to make me dread this trip. It's a good trip. I like going to Disney. Will you cut it out?" (Poor guy!)

We're off to Cleveland this weekend to meet up with some people who were on the same cruise with us last weekend! I hope it's a good time (and I hope my leg holds up).

The shirts were a big fat FAIL. They look nothing like Mickey. They are now sleep shirts only LOL

No baby news to report on yet. Such a bummer. I have a million little errands to run today, so maybe that will get things moving. My due date is Friday, and I want to make sure everything gets done around the house these next few days. I usually do laundry on Wednesday, but I'm trying to get it done today. I also need to stop at the grocery store to pick up some essentials. There is a big Scholastic Warehouse sale today too that I want to go check out. They always have great books for Madison at great prices.
