Congratulations! She's beautiful and Belle looks like she's excited to be a big sister! Love her name!

Kim...love your camper!! We loved using ours when the boys were little(it was before sister came along!)...we had talked of taking ours to disney also, but by the time we could really afford to take a long trip with it, we had sold it! You will sooo enjoy having your own little home at Disney!!! And def NO COOKING!!! maybe, just some breakfast bars or something!! LOL
Soleil!! Beautiful!!! I did post to you on there a few days back, but don't know if you got it!!If not,..they are gorgeous girls, love her name and Belle is doing a great job as big sister!
Today is my little Kipper's bday!! He is 12!!:scared1: Which I totally cannot believe!! He should be.....like 2!!! Not 12....it's crazy how fast they grow up!! We took him to lunch-he chose Olive Garden. For dinner he wants Subway! He asked me if I thought it was weird he picked those places, but I said no...that is what he likes to eat!!
I am back on the exercise wagon! I get off and on with much ease and regularity....I always try to keep up with walking, but had quit because we had soooo much going on for a while...and mike finally talked me into lifting a few (super light) weights with him last night... He was over the moon...he's been asking me fooooor eeeevvvvveeer!! But,. I have an aversion to real exercise, so I never do it. I caved yesterday. It wasn't bad...I kinda sorta, almost enjoyed it, but don't tell him! Really, I do need to do something! I don't want to be one of those ladies who hit 40 and are in terrible health and can NOT lose an ounce!!! The weight is always an issue for women, I think...so anything that helps is worth it in my book! I would really love to lose about 10#s...maybe 12...and of course it is all in my middle!!!! We'll see how this works out! If it is positive I will tell ya'll, if not, I will act like it never happened!! LOL
I make my ADRs in about a week!:yay:

:bday: Kipper!! I like his restaurant choices!!! Sarah picks places like IHOP! She love pancakes! Have you seen that commercial where the guy is proposing to his girlfriend at IHOP and she gets a plate of food and says, How cheesy!? I said, who would propose at IHOP??? But then I said, Sarah would appreciate that!
Today is DH and my 14th anniversary. No big celebrations or anything. We looked up what a traditional gift is for 14 years - Ivory! Uh, don't think so. So I bought him Ivory soap!! I also got him the DVD of season 1 of Castle, a show we like to watch and didn't see the first season.

He got me CHOCOLATES!!!! Yummy!

Sarah had her first softball game last night. She pitched the first inning. It was brutal and heartbreaking. So many walks, she just couldn't get the ball to the plate and they weren't swinging. She was in tears after the inning and the coach sat and talked with her. I kept my distance. She was supposed to pitch again, but that didn't happen. She was ready to quit, but I told her that wasn't an option. The other pitchers, for both teams, walked a LOT of batters. I'm sure it will get better but it was hard to watch.
Thankfully, she had dance tonight to take her mind off of that.

Shawna - have you made any plans for where you'll eat?? I'm curious if you will be trying anywhere new!

Sheree...Happy Anniversary to yoooooou!!!! How many years? 14? I forgot....sorry! I know you told us before.
I will spend some time looking thru the restaraunt list tomorrow...and the park days....kinda get an idea of what parks for what day...I have already looked up the crowd calendar days, the last few years I have also used TGM,...not sure if I am gonna do that website again this year-especially since we are going the same week and most parks were so slow that year--just not sure yet..what do ya'll use?
As far as ADRs,....I guess Le Cellier is not an option. We don't want to use 2 TS credits for it
We like Nine Dragons, Rose & Crown, 50s Prime Time, need to decide if we want to do the HDDR again. We did it about 3 years ago and we loved it! Not sure what else...last time we stayed at the CR we didn't go into the Wave to eat, we might do that the night we get there..in fact, the last time we were there was when we met you, Sheree!!!!!
If we are only gonna have 3 or 4 def Table Service meals, then we may not need the DDP...still tossing it around.

Shawna- Wish Kipper a very Happy Birthday from us! On Madison's birthday, she usually chooses to eat at TGI Friday's...it's her favorite!

Sheree-Happy Anniversary! So funny that you bought Dave Ivory soap!

I thought that was hilarious!!!

Happy Birthday to Kipper!! I love his restaurant choices...how fun!! Both are great meals!!! Good luck with the working out I know it can be hard! I'm finally back into a routine and loving it!!!

Soleil, your newest addition is such a cutie!!!! Love the picture of your girls! Congrats!!!

Kim what a cool RV/camper! My parents have one like that and I keep threatening to borrow it to go stay at FW but of course I'd have to get over my fear of driving it!

Thanks Jen!! Yeah.. it's killer getting into the swing of it...and like i said before, I never have been a work out/gym girl...I love walking...but he has been dying for me to do this, & my oldest has started going to the gym with him as a jr. Member. He loves it too and wants me to go with them...so I think it's a great family thing to do! Not that we are gonna be obssessed with it or anything!! LOL...but, especially for the guys in my family...it's a good way to work off that excess energy and impending hormones!:rotfl: Besides,...Jen now knows how rotten the weather can be in the summer in Texas! LOL
Me and the kids were discussing what rest. we want to choose for ADRs this year- they want the HDDR for sure....and my oldest reaaaally wants to do Germany again. He is so funny--he said, i know the food is not that good (they really don't like much of anything there), but how can you NOT go there!!! Inside that building and BE in Germany? Mom...we HAVE to do this!!
He is soooooo me!!

Today is my little Kipper's bday!! He is 12!!:scared1: Which I totally cannot believe!! He should be.....like 2!!! Not 12....it's crazy how fast they grow up!!
Tell me about it - my DD is the reverse of Kipper - she's 21! And this weekend, she will be a college graduate! Talk about scary! :scared1:

Happy birthday, Kipper!!

Bless your heart!! LOL...I will sob when my kids hit 21!!! I miss the baby stage!! Thanks for the bday wish! I will pass it on to him!!
How are all your trip plans coming?

Happy birthday, Kipper!!

Congratulations on having a college graduate!!!:wizard:

Happy Belated Birthday Kipper!!

Hahaha....thanks for the offer, but I don't think it would help. I think there are other reasons Tony doesn't want to take another Disney trip this year. I'm thinking monetary reasons maybe? Anyways...I keep saying that every trip we take is "research" for my travel agency business. :thumbsup2 We can write those off on our taxes, right?

That makes sense. Babies are expensive, even if they do get in free to Disney.

Congratulations! She's beautiful, and Belle is getting soo big.

As for me....through a serious of ridiculousness, I'm (hopefully) booked on the flight I'll be taking to Korea. At first they wouldn't book me on the flight I wanted (something about changing which airline they have an agreement with). Then they booked me on a do-able substitute (I was booked into middle seats in Economy, and flying out of Wichita instead of Kansas City, but it was non-stop from Atlanta to Seoul). Then somehow the reservation got canceled. I'm guessing because someone failed to confirm. The only reason I found out that it got canceled was because I was hoping a better seat option would open up for us (my Disney planning has trained me well). I tried to pull up the itinerary and it didn't work. So I called the airline to see if it was just a computer glitch. Then, I called Logan in a state of panic at 5am his time.

The travel office in Korea blamed it on the airline, and tried to rebook us for the same flight the next day, but wanted us to be on standby in Wichita. Umm yeah...totally not going to wake my baby up at 3am to get to the airport by 4am in hopes that there will be space for us on the plane.

Finally, Logan talked to the finance office about us booking the flight ourselves and getting reimbursed. Again, not an ideal option, but better than standby. We had to book through a certain travel agency, and he made sure to check with finance about the specific flight, because it wasn't the least expensive option.
Anyways...we got to book the flight I wanted originally. I wanted it because my Dad has about a gazillion frequent flyer miles on Delta, so he could upgrade us. It's a day after we had originally planned on, but at least we get to travel in comfort. I'm not short, so the extra legroom and lumbar support will be a lifesaver.

Thanks shelly! I will tell him!!
Becca....yeah for the upgrade!! I know it has got to be a hassle trying to do all this and worry about having an infant on a long flight! But, it sounds like this is the best option anyway and it'll be great! I know Logan is missing you both!!!
Just been emailing a friend back and forth with disney info!!! She is taking her DIL and little Grandson to Disney in a few weeks!! Her son and hubby aren't going...they are going to the lake to fish:scared1: Crazy huh!! They are missing out!! But anyhoo...she is sooo excited and so I was giving her some park day advice and telling her about FPs and all that good stuff.......she's nervous about the crowds, but I tried to console her! LOL....It'll be the week before most schools are out, so she should be okay....and the first part is on weekdays, so it won't be toooo crazy....I just told her the basics about getting in early, hit what is most important, and just have fun...she is well aware of the heat factor,...since we too live in a humid zone.... I am so excited for her...and it's got me excited for our next trip!!!

Congratulations, Soleil! :goodvibes Your family is beautiful!

Meghan, you're next! :cheer2: I so remember that stage of just wanting the baby to get here. Don't you just scratch your head over the people who tell you to "sleep now, before the baby arrives"...when you're too uncomfortable to get much sleep? Both of my boys were due May 28--maybe your little man will share a birthday with one of mine!

Kim, that camper is awesome! How fun to plan a Fort Wilderness adventure with it! How is your DH doing?

Becca, good luck on your trip! That Atlanta to Seoul flight is loooong, but just think how great the payoff will be! :goodvibes Good for you for following up on the flights to get what works best for you. The military often has the mentality of "we do it this way, because this is the way we do it", but if you're persistent it can be possible to find another way. I hope you love Korea...and I know you will love being reunited with Logan!

Shelly, any luck with the job search? We're cheering for you! :cheer2:

Belated :bday: to Kipper, and congratulations to snykymom's DD! :cool1:

It's been ages since I've posted; I have so much to catch up on. :upsidedow I have been reading along, but not posting. It is harder when I have no Disney trip in the works. :sad2: We told DD we'll go to Disneyland Paris when she's potty trained...she is working on it, but isn't there yet. :rolleyes1 Any tips for us? We do have a different trip planned, though. I just booked an eastern Mediterranean cruise for the end of October. :woohoo: Not Disney, but still good!

Kathy...good to hear from you!!!! Thanks for the bday wishes! And he was due May 20th...so Meghan...go 10 days early too girl!! LOL...actually, dd was 10 days early also. I would loooove to do a Mediterranean cruise!!!! How exciting!!

Howdy Snowbirds! Not much going on here. Kids are playing nicely so I thought I'd take a minute to pop on and say hello. :goodvibes We're taking it easy today. Yesterday we went to a little local zoo and it was lots of fun but lots of work with 8 kids. I'm so glad Jason and I stopped at 2 kids :lmao:

Andrew is counting down to the last day of school...only 25 more to go and some of those days don't really count- field trip to the Philly Zoo, Field Day, and other end of year fun stuff. I think I'm more excited about the Philly Zoo next week than he is!

Kathy- I completely understand about the lurking rather than posting attitude. It's hard when there's not a trip in the near future. Our Jan 2011 trip got pushed back to Fall of 2011 then Jason switched jobs which I'm very happy about but it threw a kink in our Disney plans and now we're planning for next spring...a whole YEAR away!!!! I'm going through some serious WDW withdrawal. It's already been a year and 4 months since we were last there, not that I'm keeping track. :rolleyes1

Meghan- Is everything all set for your little man's arrival? I thought of his adorable bedding set while we were watching the monkeys being silly at the zoo yesterday!

Becca- I hope everything works out in the end and you get to Korea without anymore headaches. Just remember Logan is there anxiously waiting for you and Gideon!!!

Shawna- Happy belated to Kipper!!!

76 and sunny here!!!!!!!!!!:cloud9: LOVE IT!!!!!! Sitting outside getting my vitamin D and burning....life is good.

I sure am! Went to the doctor today and I'm a whopping 1 cm dilated. Hey, it's better than nothing! I haven't slept well in weeks...just so uncomfortable! There is no such thing as "storing up" sleep before a baby comes. I'm really hoping that this baby decides to come early...I'd settle for next week. :goodvibes

Meghan- Is everything all set for your little man's arrival? I thought of his adorable bedding set while we were watching the monkeys being silly at the zoo yesterday!

Everything is all set! I just have to install the base for the car seat and that should be it. It's been so nice out lately, so I took my Vera Bradley diaper bag and duffel bag outside to spray them with Scotch Guard. Everything is nice and protected now. :thumbsup2

Hey Friends! :goodvibes Had a few spare minutes so I thought I would pop in and say hey! 3 of the 4 boys here are sleeping and the 4th is playing quietly by himeself! My SIL is enjoying quiet time of her own and I was just checking my email! Hope everyone is doing well! Miss chattin with you! XOXO

Hi ladies! :goodvibes

Congrats, Soleil, on your new little one!

I'm going to Disney World in LESS than 2 months! Hard to believe we've been planning this for a couple of years! (It's for my parents' 40th, so we all know when that is!) Monday will be 8 weeks and then countdown is on!

Monday is, strangely, also exactly 8 weeks since I got injured. I had an ultrasound on my leg on Tuesday. The tech told me what she was confident she saw, what she thought might be there... and then the radiologist confirmed the confident part. When my doctor called today, to read the report to me.... yup. I tore BOTH muscles in my left calf at the same time! My mom said "I always knew you were an overachiever, but it's okay to not overdo it all the time!"

Luckily, both are small tears so I should be completely healed in about 6 months. The other option would be pain free in 6 months, with more time to finish healing. I also got clearance to walk, swim, and use an elliptical. Of course, we have a recumbent exercise bike at home, but as long as I'm careful... the doctor said. But, he added, now is not the time to think about running, sprinting, soccer, basketball, or tennis.

Turns out, he's a Disney fan, too! He was VERY emphatic that I canNOT wear sandals and that I must wear "very comfortable sneakers" and take breaks.

I'm on the fence about needing a wheelchair. My parents are all for it, my husband is convinced I don't need it... but I'm pretty sure my opinion is the only one that counts! I can't imagine trying to limp through the crowds in July, but I also can't imagine trying to be in a wheelchair in the heat of July. It might be a pool trip instead. Oh well.

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? Shoe recommendations? ;) (I think Keen sandals would be okay, since they're "active" sandals, but they're pricey and I don't like the looks of them)
