Snow

so i won't tell you about the beautiful cloudless blue sky out my window....or the sandals, t-shirt and capri trousers i'm wearing.....pretty much like every day......

I heard on the radio this morning that they are predicting a very bad winter this year.

It's amazing that they can predict that far ahead but can't get the forecast correct for just a few days ahead :)

do you happen to know how your winters are in relation to US winters?
that is, when you have a bad winter, does the US have an easy one?

It's not looking good to be honest (for snow that is!).
I looked on the BBC website and they are saying some snow maybe in highlands etc. but looking at the little map thing from today right up to Sunday, there's hardly any snow clouds.
Mostly rainy with the odd occasional white bit = sleet.

Boo hoo!
I love snow.

Please make it snow.

I reckon British weather often follows on from east coast America after a couple of days or so, i.e. if it's bad weather in New York it often seems to start over here soon after. (and being in Coventry near Birmingham in the Midlands, we're in tornado alley!)

that makes sense....

It looks like everyone on the western side will be getting the worst of the snow according to the weather..

There was a snowy sky here in Devon tonight!

I don't mind snow but please not when I have to be at work ;)

It's been like a blizzard here in Wiltshirw but has stopped now - VERY cold though.

It's snowing here. So far 13 schools have already update the web site saying they will be closed tomorrow :cold:

We have about an inch of snow here - got up at 5.30 this morning to find it. I am now sitting here, debating whether the roads will be OK for me to drive to work (I have a real phobia about driving in snow/ice). I would just stay home except one of my colleagues travels in from the North West (about 50 miles more than me) and if he goes in and I don't, it will make me look like a skiver. Decisions, decisions :confused3

No snow here in Lancashire - near Blackpool - very cold and windy though.

it's 85 degrees...sunny....perfect blue sky....like always.....

some think it would be boring, but alas no.....snow was great when i was a kid....where i grew up, it was deep enough to be buried in it for several months of the year....

but now....sunshine and blue skies makes me happy.... :flower:

if i ever leave here it will have to be for a place like Arizona.....or better yet Hawaii.....but where i am will do just fine for now...the only thing missing is WDW.....
