Snow White snowglobe plays Beauty and the Beast

My mom bought a Snow White Snow Globe Easter weekend at the World of Disney. She took it out of the box a couple days ago and it plays Beauty and the Beast. Her first reaction was to take it back. My brother and I have told her to keep it. Does anyone know how to find out how many of the globes have the wrong music box?

Don't take it back. I know with most collectables the ones that have a mistake are the most valuable. Keep it mint in the box. If there are only a few like this it could be worth a lot of money.

I apologize I am not sure how to find out how many were made like this. I would think that Disney or the manufacturer would be the only ones that truly know. My first thought also would have been to return it, however thinking about it further the things you see worth the most are ones that have errors. Very cool. Hope you can get some more info. on it.

we have an older Snow White snowglobe. it does not play a Snow White song. i can't remember what it is (and we just moved, so it isn't unpacked yet).

the one for sale online at disney store plays "Brahams Waltz." i wonder why the Snow White ones don't play songs from the movie?

If this was an old globe, I would say keep it. Todays globes dont have the same mechanism. Its simply a small device you can change out easily in most globes

According to the box and the sticker on the bottom of the globe it is supposed to play "When You Wish Upon a Star". Mom has decided to keep it. It's on a shelf with the rest of her Disney collection. The box has been put away for safe keeping.
