snow report: how many inches did you get so far?

In the Philly area, we have 5-7, but looking outside I'd say there's a good 7 or 8 inches, maybe more with the drifts and all...and its STILL coming down!

How's everyone doing in this?

We have at least 8" right now here in the "outer Boston Suburbs" area.... And it's still falling... supposed to total about 12-24" in the end. YIKES! And why did I say we didn't need a snowblower this winter? I'm going to home depot when the roads clear.

Some Blizzard Warning, this is a joke. Woke up this am at 6., not snowing about 4 inches on the ground. Turned on the weather, HYPE, HYPE, HYPE. . .Blizzard Warning 12-18 expected between 11am and 11pm. Its almost 3pm . . . I'M WAITING.



Its been spitting all day but, Blizzard, NO, I don't think we've even picked up a 1/2 in all day.

I was expecting so much more . . .right now I think we are at about 5 - 6 inches . . .it's still coming down . . . .but the plows are able to keep up . . . .in fact I can see the manhole in the street and the plow came by about an hour ago.

Sorry, no snow in my part of the world. Not yet anyway, it will wait till I want to fly out to Florida in January!!!

I'd say we have 8-10 and it's still falling. We had whiteout conditions several times this afternoon. There's a lot of drifts so it's hard to say how much fell vs. how much is just getting blown around. The drifts are over a foot against the back door. Sunny California here we come (luckily not until Wednesday )

In my part of Virginia we only got about an inch. The snow on the streets, sidewalks, etc. have all melted.

It's still left on the grass though.

well, it was snowing here when I got up- around 7, and hasn't slowed down yet. I'd say "true inches" not with the wind gusts/drifts we have about 11 inches now.

On the side of my house, there is a spot between two steps, that the wind can't really effect and it's 11" there.

Its been snowing all day the same, white outs, I have only seen my nieghbors house a few times.

Plow trucks keep coming by, however they can't scrape the road, as then it gets slick, so no man hole cover's here.

I'll wait till about 10pm then hook up the snow blower on the tractor, put the chains on and move the snow to the other side of our yard....my neighbors should love the sound of the John Deere by about midnight!...

I'll make good- and snowblow a few of them, then they can't complain!

I would say we have about 8-12 inches. It's hard to tell with the drifts. I think it's finally stopped now! I really hope so, it's been snowing since yesterday morning and I'm tired of shoveling!

I think we go about 6-7 inches total. I tried to measure at 7:30 this morning and saw 4-5 inches without stepping outside.

We were really lucky, and got just over an inch. Yesterday was all rain, and the snow didn't start until today. We have between 1-2 inches on the ground, so I'm very happy. I do not like snow at all, so the less there is on the ground, the happier I am!

+ 40 degree temperature it is melting.
