Don't have much info, apparently it has just happened within the last hour or so oustide of a Home Depot in Falls Church, Virginia.

All the highways are once again closed down--no word on the condition of the victim.

Will try to post more as I find out more.

There is a developing story on it on MSNBC (online).... no details, just says developing story...

I guess they like to take weekends off.

I just saw this on the news--they interrupted the baseball game on Fox 5.

ACK!!!! I go shopping at that Home Depot all the freakin' time--I just don't know what to think anymore.

All the other attacks happened in daylight, right?

Oh, God, this really just gets worse every day--I was just telling my coworkers today that I actually feel safer living *in* the city than I would in the suburbs...

This madman has to be stopped!!!

Blondie, I'm speechless. I hope they catch this nut. This is too much!!!!:( :(

This guy is really scary....I hope they catch him soon....

He seems to like National chains...Home Depot, Michaels, Sunoco,....

This guy is really good, he has to be to have gotten away each and every time. I hope they catch him soon.

Here's what my local newspaper website says:

Fairfax County police say a shooting has occurred in suburban Virginia that may be related to the sniper.

A police spokesman says roads are being closed in the area of the Home Depot store, reported to be in the Seven Corners neighborhood, which is where Routes 7 and 50 come together.

The spokesman declined to reveal any other details.

State police reportedly have patrol cars posted on a number of ramps and bridges along I-95 in northern Virginia.

This is just sick. I don't know how you people living in the areas can even deal with this. I would be afraid to go anywhere. This person is not going to quit until he is caught or killed.

I felt like this person strikes after special reports on TV, each time. I was just watching 20/20.

:( I'm very angry over this. :(

:( Oh goodness just switched the TV over to the news! I can't believe this is still going on! Stay safe you guys!

IF this is the sniper, this will be his third night time attack.

He shot an elderly man in Washington DC on the first night, (Thursday) and a man in Manassas on Wednesday night.

They just said they believe the person is dead. Just got off the phone with my husband's brother, who lives in Sleepy Hollow right there across the street. Everything was shut down within minutes. There just seems to be no time of day or night that's safe.

CNN just announced that a woman has died from her injuries....:( :(

Yes, the woman died of a single gunshot wound to the head. :(

I want to know how this sick $*&# keeps getting away!!!!!!!!!

Oddly enough, there is a Michael's craft store in a adjacent parking lot. The woman shot here in Fredericksburg last Friday had just left a Michael's when she was shot.

Oh my God.....how sad.:( I can't believe how some individuals can do such horrid things to others.:(

It seems that Michael's has been mentioned a lot.

Just awful. I'm so sorry you guys have to live with this.

here's a link to the CNN article

WHY does he have to keep killing everyone. he'd still have everyone up in arms if he was just shooting... ok so we know he's a great marksman... so impress me by NOT killing everyone you aim at....

sorry, I'm so mad I could just scream.. but I know everyone else is too *sigh*

I have so many friends up in the area, I used to live in the area and I'm not that far from there... not that it's more important becasue I know people there, I'd be mad no matter what... but I guess it's normal to get even madder the closer things are to home??!!???

oh boy. :(
