We are a group of ten on the DDP and considering eating around the world. I've heard of buying snack items at each country and sharing as a way to have a meal. Is this feasible with a group this size and using snack credits, or do we need to use CS credits? Where and what would you rec. we eat?

Our group (of 8) is eating around the world over our 3 days at Epcot. We're doing a combination of snacks, CS meals and TS meals. Here's our plan:

Mexico - TS at San Angel Inn
Norway - Snack at Kringla
China - CS at Lotus Blossom Cafe
Germany - CS at Sommerfest
Italy - Snack at Pasticceria Italiana
American Adventure - nothing (we figure sodas are American enough)
Japan - CS at Yakitori House
Morocco - CS at Tangierine Cafe
France - Snack at Boulangerie
United Kingdom - TS at Rose & Crown
Canada - Snack at Trapper Bob's

Here's what you could do if you only wanted to use snack credits only:

Mexico - Churros at Cantina de San Angel
Norway - Pretzels at Kringla
China - Eggrolls or Pot Stickers at Lotus Blossom Cafe or Tea at the Joy of Tea Stand
Germany - Apple Strudel / Black Forest Cake at Sommerfest
Italy - Anything at Pasticceria Italiana
American Adventure - Apple Cobbler at Liberty Inn
Japan - Ginger Cake at Yakitori House or Shaved Ice at Kaki Gori
Morocco - Any Side Dish at the Tangierine Cafe
France - Just about anything at the Boulangerie
United Kingdom - Side of Chips at the Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Canada - Pretzels at Trapper Bob's

Have fun!!

I've used the DDP several times at Boulangerie and the only snack you can get there on the DDP is a medium soda--none of their pastries are included as a snack. You can eat a CS there and get a savory pastry (or fruit/cheese plate), a sweet pastry, and a medium soda, but no way will they let you have any pastry for just a snack credit. (FYI-you can get a pastry in Noway for a snack credit, although I had a CM tell me last month that I couldn't. After informing her I had done so several times before, she checked with another CM and found I could. No way the French bakery will let you though).

Also is Trapper Bob's even open now. I thought it was closed several years ago.

Is it possible to have enough to share with about 5 people for each snack? Considering we would have several snacks to share would it be enough to eat? Also, there are 5 adults and 5 kids, 8,8,6,5,1. Are there enough choices for the kids?

Is Pasticceria Italian even included in the DDP? I've never seen it mentioned anywhere for DDP use, and allears doen't have it on their list. Also, like a previous poster stated, you can't use snack credits at the Bounlangerie (wish you could though!)

If you go to the Dining Plan sub forum (up above), they have a great snack thread that lists all the confirmed snack choices--it's the first sticky on the thread.

The Cous Cous at Morocco is yummy, though would be less on the snack credits as other items. (if allowed). I just pay cash.
