Snack Credits for Dessert at Plaza Restaurant?

I have never been to the Plaza Restaurant or Ice Cream Parlor, so I don't know the layout. Are the two connected, or completely separate with different entrances? I wanted to try the Plaza for dinner and pay OOP since the prices are reasonable. I was wondering if it would be possible to get dessert using snack credits, or would I have to go to the Ice Cream Parlor to do this? Thank you!

Snack credits can not be used at TS. The ice cream menu at the Ice cream parlor is far more limited than the menu at the Plaza. If you'd like to use the snack credit for ice cream after your meal, I think you are going to have to go to the ice cream parlor to get your treat.

There are two seperate entrances to the Plaza and the Ice Cream Parlor, and you are allowed to use a snack credit at the Parlor.
