We leave tomorrow for a wedding at DL. Of course we have done next to no planning because we don't know what the wedding schedule will be and what family obligations we will have.

We were told that there is a free shuttle but haven't gotten any further information. We have 4 people, including an infant, and will be arriving around 1030 pm.

Should we suck it up and rent a car???? That is what DH wants to do but I'm trying to do this trip as inexpensively as possible.

Thanks!

Because you are going for a wedding, you might be better off renting a car. When my dd and I go, we are just going straight to our hotel, which is right near DL, so we just use Super Shuttle. The cost is $10pp for everyone 3 and over. A taxi costs about $40, so that might be an option if you don't want to wait for a shuttle.
If you have an entertainment book, it has discount coupons for Super Shuttle and also discounts for rental cars if you decide to rent one.
Have fun!

thanks

the wedding is at the Disneyland Hotel so we won't have to travel far.

We do have an entertainment book so I will look at that.

DL area hotels don't have free shuttles from the airport, unfortunately. You're on your own for ground transportation.

SNA to DL hotel with an infant? How little of an infant? Will you have a carseat on the plane for him/her?

If not and you don't want to lug a carseat, you might consider the Grayline DL express, because you're not required to have a carseat for your baby on the bus. DL express runs from SNA on a pretty regular schedule and it's not that expensive. Here's the link: http://graylineanaheim.com/docs/GL Anaheim DRE Brochure 2008.pdf

If you will have a carseat with you, it would probably be easiest just to take a taxi. It will cost you a flat fee of $40 from the airport to DLH. On the way back, they run the meter and it will probably run $50-60.

Or, you can take a shuttle. Super Shuttle and PrimeTime are pretty standard, shared-ride vans. They're reasonably cheap from SNA: $10 per person each way, but there are coupon codes for $3.00 off per person here: http://www.retailmenot.com/view/supershuttle.com So that's pretty economical. We took SuperShuttle a couple weeks ago when we were there, and it was fine. We were the last dropped off of 5 groups, but it still didn't take long at all. There again, you'll need a carseat for your baby.

Hope that helps! Have fun at the wedding! :)
