I was going to go to DL today with my Mom, but she has the flu. And I really, really want to go before she has her surgery. :| She's having a total hip replacement next Tuesday.. for those of you who didn't know until now. :/

Evening all, I hope everyone's Monday's went as smoothly as possible.

Hey all, I have an etiquette question.
When do you think its too late to call or text some one these days? I remember while being under my parents roof that 9PM was the latest to receive or send a phone call unless it was important. Have the etiquette rules changed since we are in the texting cell phone age?

Hey all, I have an etiquette question.
When do you think its too late to call or text some one these days? I remember while being under my parents roof that 9PM was the latest to receive or send a phone call unless it was important. Have the etiquette rules changed since we are in the texting cell phone age?

I think for our house it depends on who it is, and what the situation is about. My sister or uncle will call at 9:15 or such. But if someone else calls at that time, then we would wonder what happened. So, usually calls before 8:00.

I guess everyone's getting ready for heading back to school or something :

This week is my daughter's second week of school.

And she is enjoying it. Today was her first day of reading class, and there are only 6 or 7 second graders in her class, and the rest of third graders.

We are expecting a tropical storm with strong winds, and rain. But today is the most hottest day that I have experienced.

The hurricane was downgraded to a tropical storm, and luckily the most we had seen from it was alot of heavy rains, and slight winds last night. The weather is weird-hot, then overcast...so hopefully it passed for the most part.
