That is pretty rare these days, to bad. LB that may be a good project for your kids, we use to have pen pals that we would write to from all over the world. It's good for their penmanship and how to construct a letter and to find out how other children live (asuming the other children can write english).

I had a penpal when I was in grade school, and it is fun to recieve snail mail .
