Years ago, on extremely rare cases (maybe once a year) there would be a deed showing up on the county website for less than 10 points direct.what is the lowest point contract ever seen sold?
I saw a ccv 25 point resale with board sponsor this year.
I see a ssr 20 point resale with the board sponsor now.
How were these contracts sold direct?
You could get a 25 point direct contract at CCV today if you wanted. I thought that was the current minimum at some with other resorts have a higher minimum of 50.what is the lowest point contract ever seen sold?

This is the only contract I can afford if it for the cabins or VB lolYears ago, on extremely rare cases (maybe once a year) there would be a deed showing up on the county website for less than 10 points direct.
I’ve never seen one lower than 25, but I guess I can see the need to add on less than 25 just to get to a certain number to match the p0int charts.what is the lowest point contract ever seen sold?

I believe 50 if you’re new to D.V.C, and 25 if already an owner, and have something to add on to.very interesting!
I thought the minimum for ccv was 50 direct.
I had never seen any contract less than 25 pts on resale for any resort before today.
Allow what? (I’m misunderstanding, I think)Yes, most resorts allow for 25 points resale...
I think for adding on 25 points directly from Disney although resale was listed?Allow what? (I’m misunderstanding, I think)
I have a vague recollection that shortly after BLT went on sale, there was some issue with points charts adjustments that caused DVD to allow very small add-ons. I can’t remember details, though.Years ago, on extremely rare cases (maybe once a year) there would be a deed showing up on the county website for less than 10 points direct.
Unless one of those individuals buying that case deed posts, the best we can do is guess. I believe the guesses were Disney sold them a deed and they immediately realized they needed a tiny amount more than the guide told them.
And I don’t recall any similar issue with BCV, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t.Looking at https://www.dvcforless.com/listings and selecting the inactive listings, they show there was a 15 point Beach Club a couple years back
Pretty sure CCV is 50 points min not 25.Those are add ons. You can buy 25 CCV direct right now if you want. starting with Riviera, the minimum was increased to 50.
I want to say I have seen someone say they have a 5 or 6 point contract for BLT for this reason. We own a 25 point contract we bought back in 2017. I bet there are thousands of 25 pointer contracts out there, but no one is selling them because of the blue card benefits associated with them at the time.I have a vague recollection that shortly after BLT went on sale, there was some issue with points charts adjustments that caused DVD to allow very small add-ons. Maybe I was confused there. Honestly now that I think about it, can’t remember if CCV was the last with 25 or the first with 50.Pretty sure CCV is 50 points min not 25.
My understanding was that DVC allowed less than 50 point contracts at CCV only for those who bought a FW and needed a smaller contract to hit the 150 point minimum. So if your FW cost 120 points you could buy a 30 point contract.
But the minimum for CCV is 50 AFAIK.
Yep a grandfathered 25point contract is a gold mine, I would never sell it (if I had one)I want to say I have seen someone say they have a 5 or 6 point contract for BLT for this reason. I remember seeing an 8 points contract for BLT, years ago. As Carol said, DVC allowed to buy such small contracts because they reallocated weekdays and weekends right after BLT opened and people were short a few points for the usual vacation they bought for.Years ago, on extremely rare cases (maybe once a year) there would be a deed showing up on the county website for less than 10 points direct.

Interestingly, now they don’t allow for that. It is your fixed week + minimum add on if you want 150.Pretty sure CCV is 50 points min not 25.

That's what happened to us. Bought our initial contract, then 2 months later decided we needed another 25 points. Interestingly, when we sold those 25 points later, we were told they were being bought by someone who wasn't currently a DVC member, who wanted to combine cash and points to "get their feet wet".Unless one of those individuals buying that case deed posts, the best we can do is guess.
