We have travelled to florida lots of times and normally stay in the international drive area, although we have stayed in disney and last year for the first time we stayed in a Villa in the Indian wells community and loved it. I am looking again for a villa but the choice is just overpowering. There is just the two of us so it seems a waste paying for a villa that sleeps 8+ Plus we like to be near places to eat, is there anywhere you could suggest that do smaller villas. Not too keen on condos after noisy neighbors at the Marriot resort at the far end of international drive. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. ps we want a villa with its own pool.

Hi
I know you said you weren't keen on condo's but I have stayed at Bonnet Creek for the last 2 years and will be there again in 3 weeks. You may have seen the sign, after you go past Typhoon Lagoon and before you get to Carribean Beach there is a sign for Bonnet Creek. Its a big development with 4 pools and is the nearest non Disney property. I have booked 3 times through a great guy called Ken Price, his website is www.vacationupgrades.com. I really cant recommend highly enough. With regards to noise. I have so far spent a total of 24 nights there and have never heard any noise atall.
Hope this helps.

We hired a villa once when we went with DD as a toddler.

The smallest villas are 3 bed. But most are 4 bed so it's often cheaper to get the 4 bed as there is more choice/competition.

We booked ours off ebay as a last minue deal, stayed in a 4 bed - just didn't use the other bedrooms.

Hi,
We rented a townhouse with a small pool and our kids loved it! They often wanted to leave the big pool at the resort to go back to their own private pool. Send me a private message if you would like to have the name of the place that we rented.

I have stayed at a TH also - at Windsor Hils. They have 3 br and a small splash pool at the rear. OK to dip your toes in - but not for swimming - there is a community pool that you can walk to in 10 minutes. I have stayed at this one 3 times now and would be glad to recommend it.

Would this be of interest to you?

i would also recommend a townhouse at windsor hills.it souds just what you are looking for.
it is a great gated community, you won't be disappointed.

We've stayed a number of times in a 3-bed townhouse at Emerald Island. It's owned by an English family and we have had no problems at all with the rental.

We've booked it again for Easter next year.

It doesn't have it's own pool but there's one very close by.

PM me if you'd like more details.

We have stayed at a town house in WH it was fab, the splash pool was just perfect for our kids. I have the details if you need them the renters are uk based

We stayed in a nice 3 bed villa this year, it was off Poinciana Blvd, it was a lovley size and was perfect for us. It is owned by a Brit couple too, so PM me if you'd like the details, it has a pool and spa (which we all Loved!)

Thank you to everyone for your replies, I am checking them all out, :surfweb: we are in no great rush, just wanted to be prepaired for when the DH gets the credit card out to pay.
