My wife (sues14) was in a local hospital waiting room today and someone noticed her DCL hoodie. What followed was a long powwow with a seasoned DCL traveler and their time flew by quickly. My wife came home just elated that she got to bond with another DCL junkie!!! It's great to bond with other diehards!!!!

I have a DCL purse - WOW - do I make friends with DCL Travelers or want-to-be's. I love talking with them and sharing our love for the cruise ships.

I was in a lift at work the other day, and saw someone with a DCL Lanyard. I was so excited! I'm sure he thought I was weird when I asked him which cruise he'd been on. Living in Australia it's very unusual to come across anyone who's cruised DCL.

Nope we are from Australia too and luv all things Disney - both my girls 4 and 9 luv Disney. We did Disneyland Anaheim and the Western Carribean cruise on The Fantasy and now planning our second trip WDW and Eastern Carribean cruise on The Fantasy in April 2017 - we are soooo excited. We cruise with Carnival Cruises last year and did the Pacific Islands - the islands were beautiful but DCL wins hands down for us so far.

We love finding fellow Aussies on the cruise to say hello to, but it's still pretty rare. There are so many Aussies who don't even know that Disney has a cruise line!

One day I want to cruise on the Fantasy - all our cruises have been on the Magic or Wonder.

The bummer for my wife is that they discussed DisBoards and all things DCL, but my wife didn't think to get her name, etc. She'd really like to reconnect with this local cruiser!

Has anyone developed DCL friendships that weren't created on a ship? We have several that we stay in touch with from prior cruises, including cast members, but none that were established off-ship.
