but out neighborhood has been plagued by some kids turfing yards all year round.

Not to hijack, but what is "turfing yards?" I've never heard of this. Vandalism of some sort, I gather, but what, exactly?

My wife came home one day and was livid that somone had stolen her lawn flag (she had various seaonal decorative flags she puts up). This seemed very odd to me so I checked our video camera system. Sure enough around noon that day it got real windy and it blew away. We never did find it.

We live in a city but there is a small orchard that borders a road and the 4 wheelers used to lover driving thru and tear up the place. So the owner put large log sections along the road every 2 feet and also placed some farm equipment in strategic spots. No more problem.

My father inlaws neighbor had a tree stump he wanted to get get of, but the yard waste people won't pick up stumps so he covered it with grass clippings (hoping the tractor would just scoop it all up). Well some kid thought it would be funny to drive thru the grass clippings piled in the street. Boy did he do some damage when he hit that stump.
