DD will be 22 months when we visit. But she's a little on the small side. (Not very small just not big for her age)

DH is getting nervous about how she's going to be on rides with shared lap bars.

I've told him I'm sure it's fine, we'll just out and arm around her. I'm sure we'd have heard if toddlers kept falling out of rides.

But now I'm over thinking things.

So - how do you find the rides have been with little ones?

My daughter is only a few momths older than yours but the siZe of a 12 momth old lol she's been with us 4 times. We have always been told to sit her her next to us and we put our arm around her. To be hi eat the rides they will be allowed on won't be fast or tip you up etc for her to fall out.

I am sure the only ones with lap bars suitable for their age is Peter pan, Snow White,Pinocchio and slinky dog none of which you can fall out of unless you stand up .

I thought my just turned 3 year old was going to fall out on Peter Pan! I held on to her for dear life. All other rides were fine.

Peter Pan does slant slightly but they tell you the little ones have to sit on the inside and we always had someone sat both sides of her

DS was 19 months on our first trip to DLP and DD2 was 14 months on our trip to WDW. Both very dinky for the ages (9-12m clothes). Never had any trouble with either and we did exactly what you said and held them by putting our arm round them and snuggling them into our sides. With DD2 especially I worried that she'd fidget and wouldn't want to stay still but she was fine. You're also told to sit on the 'door' side with LO on the inside too so they can't slide anywhere.

I tend to get DH to sit by DD2 (and did with DS) anyway just as he's bigger and stonger than me. Then the most awkward thing for me was to get decent pic. So many Dumbo pics of DH and a tuft of hair sat next to him!... Thankfully by the end of our WDW trip DD1 learnt to keep our elephant up high so I could catch them! :goodvibes
