small problem: Can anyone help me?

I have rented points and have booked a studio from one person and from another person I have booked a preferred studio and preferred one bedroom. I called to set up ME with the two preferred rooms so I had to give them the names of the people in those two rooms. Now my name is no longer on the rooms.

How can I get my name on the rooms? My DD's are staying in the 1 bedroom with their Grandmother and I would like to get them settled in as soon as the room is ready instead of having to wait for grandma to arrive from the airport. Is there a way I can check into all 3 rooms at once?

I had my name on all reservations but when I did the ME thing, they (unbeknowst to me) took me off the rooms. I am paying for them and my kids will be in one of them. I would contact the person I rented from but he is not in the US right now. And I found this all out when I called to see if we had been upgraded to our 2 bedroom but couldn't get any info. CRO then told me that they should not even had added the names from me, nevermind remove my name without the DVC owner's calling them. What a PIA!!

We are waitlisted for a two bedroom.

CRO shouldn't have been able to change names on a points reservation (or did you call Member Services?). Your trip isn't for 3 months, I would have the member double check it with DVC member services when they return.

You will need to have the member you are renting from clear up the names for the rooms. ME does complicate the process a little, but you should not be able to make any changes to the reservation thru MS - only the member who owns the points can do that.

I'd call them ASAP and ask that they clear up the names on the reservation for each room - ME depends on the information on the reservations to be correct. Make sure that the names actually staying in each room are correct (the names will also be imprinted on the room ids).

the problem is that MS changed the names on the reservation from me, not the member. I need to be able to get my kids stuff into that 2nd room.

Unless you are able to get MS to correct the information, you have no other option but to ask the member to make any changes to HIS/HER reservation (remember, it is still the member's reservation). Apparently, MS was willing to make changes for you once in error, getting them to make more changes may not happen. It may be much easier to have the member make any further changes at this point.

It's unclear to me why the changes MS made on your behalf are now incorrect.

With the new "room ready" policy only those guests present will be given their room. I don't believe you can "hold" all three rooms, especially when you are renting. Depends on the CM though.

I don't want all 3, just the two that are for my DH and myself and the 2nd one that 3 of my kids will be staying in.

If you're going by the reservation confirmation, there may be more names than are listed. So it may be you're still on the reservation, just not the primary listed. But I'd agree with the other information above as to your best options and approach if you were truly removed. It shouldn't be a big deal to add you to the room again if you were removed.

I would think that the problem is that you yourself don't need three seats for ME. Therefore by leaving your name on three reservations, they would have done just that. So to clarify exactly how many seats they need to hold, they didn't leave you name on one ressie. However, are you absolutely sure that your name has been removed? Maybe it's just not listed for the ME for that room. If so, can you just have your name on your room and have the member put your DH's name on the children's room? Are any of the children 18? If so, they will be able to check-in just fine. Otherwise you need to get either your name or your DH's on the reservation.

Call or email the rentees. They should call member services to change your name. I do not believe MS will casually change names on ressies.
