Small children - which restaurants only adults?

I am visiting with 2 small children - a 2 1/2 yr old & 1 1/2 year old - which restaurants are they not allowed/ wouldn't advise taking them there. Will have a babysitter for some evenings so I'm just wondering which restaurants to visit with just adults and also which restaurants you recommend for small children that they will enjoy. Already planning on the Cindrella breakfast at the Castle. Haven't been to WDW in over 10 years!

All of the restaurants on the DDP allow children.

Personally however, I would not take children as young as yours to most of the two credit meals (excepting CRT which you are doing - this one is good for kids).

Do your kids watch playhouse disney? There is a meal in MGM (either breakfast or lunch) featuring JoJo and Goliath and ?? sorry can't remember the other characters, that they might enjoy.

Have they ever encountered characters before? IF they are okay with them, there are lots of great character meals, if not, you might want to skip them (other than face characters, who look like people).

As a mom, my usual advice is that if your kids are capable of handling a restaurant meal and keeping up reasonable behavior, then go for it. There aren't any restaurants where they wouldn't be allowed, so it's mainly up to your own judgement. Victoria and Albert's is an exception in my mind, though if older kids can handle the whole experience, then that'd be fine, too.

Hollywood and Vine at MGM is doing the Playhouse Disney meal, but there are plenty of other possibilities. Check out allearsnet.com for menus and an idea of which meals involve characters and such.
