"....during the healing process. They are not roots and usually fall out within a few days. If annoying, contact the office for their removal". :headache:

Just read that on the "Care of the Mouth After Surgery" form I was given. I had oral surgury 3 days ago, and what I was THOUGHT was a piece of the stitches I can now see is actually a bone fragment sticking through my gum.

Boy, life just keeps getting more and more fun every day..... :lmao: <----(I have to laugh, or else I'd spontaneously combust....)

At least I have my supply of pain medication here.

Thanks for letting me vent... :surfweb:

Hope you heal quickly and that your pain decreases swiftly.

I had a huge piece of tooth come out a week after I got my wisdom teeth removed.. It was so odd. I was at a Funeral Mass and I could not stop rubbing my tongue over the bump in my gum... finally out the little piece popped out... surprised me completely.
