DH told me today that we should take a quick trip to DL this month! :thumbsup2 From my understanding November is a crazy month and always packed. Is this true? When would you suggest we go? Obviously we would go during the week, maybe one weekend day, but when??

With the exception of Veteran's Day weekend and Thanksgiving Week/weekend, November is typically a very slow month. Avoid those times, go mid-week, and you'll have an incredible time!

I agree w/Dangermouse.

This is my first November trip to Disneyland, and I did a lot of research beforehand.

We arrive on Veteran's Day, so we're prepared for crowds, but we're there the rest of the week, so we're sure Wednesday and Thursday will be FABULOUS.

If I could do it over, I would probably book even one week later, to the week before Thanksgiving, as this seems like it will be even slower. :thumbsup2

My DH arrived there yesterday and said it was pretty slow yesterday and practically EMPTY today. So I think before veterans day is a good day to be there. Wish I was :)

Thanks! DS1 gets ear tubes in next Weds so it will be after that but before T-day if we get to go this month. I had no clue it was so slow in November. Our other option is early Dec...we are just playing it day by day right now.

That's great to hear it won't be so crowded when we go next week. Actually will give us a chance to get on the rides! Downside will be that it's going to be a little chilly.

My hubby and I are looking forward to cooler weather...coming from hot AZ. ;)

Chilly and uncrowded at Disneyland? Wow, I haven't experienced that since last November! ;) (and I went in Feb, Apr, June and Oct. -- each time was insanely hot and crowded)

Yuck, to both of those! Really in Feb, hot and crowded?

Yep, it was Lincoln's Birthday weekend (not President's Day, but Lincoln's Birthday -- the weekend after). The temps were in the low 90's and it was wall to wall people (even Johnny Depp, Harrison Ford and Diane Keaton were in the parks). I'll NEVER do that weekend again.
