I'm not a member and being in the UK, I can't really see that there would be much of a benefit in being. Shame really as it's something I'd consider.

I’m a gold member (not sure which level, it’s like $130 a year I think, it comes out automatically every year). I like the cute surprise stuff they send and the discounts are nice, and it’s not expensive so I figured why not. Been members a few years now.

Thank you so so so much for posting about this - I didn't know this was a thing.
I did what you said and joined the gold membership for free. You don't get any goodies that go along with it, but that's ok. I do like the spirit jersey, but I need another spirit jersey like I need a hole in the head.

Sorry to hear of your spirit jersey fixation; DD31 suffers from the same affliction! She wears them, but the price keeps going up and up. Fortunately, the ones she saw on her last trip were a tad, what shall I say... gaudy? so she was able to pass them up!
