*Due to me leaving very early tomorrow morning I’m posting this poll early.

Have you seen the movie Titanic?
If yes, did you cry at the end?
(Multiple choice)

For Me….I did not
I was pregnant with DD24 at the time, and I felt like there was something wrong with me for not crying at the end - everyone kept saying how they cried so hard at the end. So I went back to the theater and watched it again, and nope, still no tears - LOL! I was sad, but not sad enough to cry.

*Inspiration for today’s poll is me sitting here watching Titanic and I was curious how many other people were like me.

I saw it in the theater. Kinda on a date. Definitely cried. Leo was so dreamy.....

As an aside, didn't marry that guy....

I have never seen Titanic and I don't have any interest to. Doesn't seem like something I would like. Not related to the movie necessarily, but I did visit the Titanic exhibit when I was in Belfast and that was pretty cool.

As to your poll question, knowing me, I probably was misty eyed. But it was a long time ago and really don't recall for sure. I've seen the movie multiple times now, and I know for sure, not in recent viewings.

Omg TWO polls in One day ❤️❤️❤️ Of course I’ll have poll withdraw tomorrow AM 😢
Seen the movie several times - just now don’t tear up - how many years has it been ?? I still cry watching Harry Potter !!! Doesn’t take much for me !!

I've seen it.
Sad, but not misty eyed.
I enjoyed it. I have only watched it once

I cried my eyes out, but I do that at all ship sinking movies. I think in another life either I died or was on a sinking vessel.

As a kid and even now getting sobbing at the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald song.

I always had a great interest in the Titanic, especially since reading the Walter Lord book A Night to Remember for a book report in Junior High. In fact I have a library book on hold to pick up that was released in August (Sinkable by Daniel Stone).

Thus I have to say my main interest in the movie was seeing them recreate the ship and what happened to it over the love story. What I recall thinking at the end was “why did that old woman throw that valuable jewel into the sea”!

Coincidentally, I just started watching it (for the umpteenth time) last night. It's a good but long movie. Enjoy, Slo. :)

I was watching with my boyfriend (now husband) at the time. I fell asleep. Not because I was bored, just really tired. I got up at 5 a.m. for work. We were watching it a little late for me.

Saw it opening night with a friend. The experience was ruined because a bunch of teeny boppers would scream and whoop every time Leo was on the screen. I can’t remember if we asked for refunds or not.

I have seen it again since then but I have to be in a very specific mood to watch it.

I am not usually a crier at movies so I did not cry at this one.

I went to the theater to see it and cried like a baby. When it came out on video, I bought the fancy 2 VHS set and watched it at least a couple more times.

I saw it in the theater however many years ago and I was a teenager. I probably did cry, but I don't remember. I do remember one of my friends being obsessed and sent to see it almost a dozen times. That's overkill.

I love the historical story of the Titanic, but Leo DiCaprio isn't my thing. :-)

I have watched it several times. Good movie!

I was sad, but no tears. I must’ve been saving those tears for years waiting for Toy Story 3. :rolleyes2:laughing:
