Usually me, but we do ours at the Toyota dealer and our office is about a mile away so DH will meet me there and take me to work and at the end of the day will drop me off to pick it up. We generally do the same with his truck or the kid car. If he takes his in really early he might just shuttle to work because he gets going much earlier than me in the morning.

I take it to the dealership myself, and I'm covered for free oil changes up to a certain amount of miles. Each time I go it takes longer and longer, and these oil changes are all by appointment. I'm due later this month.

Since there’s only me, I take it. The only exception was the oil change a few weeks ago, because the car had a dead battery too, so it was towed to the garage, and I just picked it up afterwards when all the service was complete.

We don’t take our cars anywhere for oil changes, dh does them in our garage.

I was waiting to get his car inspected the other day and its $95 for an oil change- full synthetic. We have multiple vehicles so doing it home saves $100s of dollars

Yep. The cost of the oil change when we take it in by our house it running close to $100. I think it was $93.15 when we took it in last time.

I voted other. When I was traveling and driving for work, I was the one that would bring it in. Now that I’m home and around town most of the time, Hubby sometimes does it. Sometimes if one of my sons is around and if something needs to be done/ oil to a car, they will take it in.

Me. I have free oil changes for 3 years at the dealership which is located about a mile from my office. I drop off the car in the morning, they run me to work, then drop my car off when it's done. DH takes his car, daughter takes hers. We all have very busy schedules so I can't imagine trying to coordinate with a partner to have them take my car for an oil change when I'm more than capable.

Side note: I really regret buying DD a VW Beetle, not only have we had to fix a ton of things on it, oil changes are crazy expensive!

I take my car in for anything it needs.
I usually wait for it to be done....at least just an oil change. I always make an appointment

I take my car for all my service myself. Depending on where I'm taking it and if I can wait, hubby might come pick me up and take me back to get it but that's all. I decide where I'm taking it and when, it is my car after all. Same with his truck and his car. He either drops them off and waits or I go pick him up and take him back. We live out in the middle of nowhere so none of the dealers around will come pick our vehicles up.

I take my car in for maintenance and he takes his car for maintenance. I prefer going to the dealership especially if there’s other things that need to be done aside from the oil change. The dealership being next to my office makes this super convenient.

I take my car into the dealership (I have oil changes for life on my car) and when my kids were little I would just schedule the earliest appt and then wait with them at the dealership. Now I just drop the car off and tell them to call me later when it's available for pick up(they always wash and vacuum it too) and I schedule for a Saturday morning so DH can just pick me up so I'm not stuck there.

We both do. How am I going to get home if my wife doesn't follow me in the other car? No way during a pandemic I am going to sit around a dealer waiting room.
Although I have been known to change my own oil. I do use an independent mechanic, if I am there at 8 am with advance notice I can be on my way home by 8:20 am and as he works by himself, no crowded waiting room.

I take mine and DH takes his, but we do not go to the dealership for maintenance unless it is something specific like a recall. I took my Subaru to the dealership for the 100,000 mile timing belt replacement, and not too long after my regular maintenance guy said the serpentine belt was cracking and he usually does them at the same time as the timing belt.

I have free oil changes for life, so I drive up on a Friday afternoon when I am off and pull right in and it takes them like 15 minutes or less. DH does all the other vehicles himself at home.

Prior to this vehicle, though, I would call the local place and they would pick up and drop off my vehicle at work. I actually work next door to another place that does service, but DH doesn't trust them.

Definitely other. Dh has always changed the oil in our cars himself. I had no idea that was out of the ordinary. He taught all three of our boys when they were teens and learning to drive.
