Some people have the most organized refrigerator.
On a scale of 1-8, with 1 being a mess, and 8 being super organized, how would you rate the organization of your refrigerator?

For Me…..I’ll give my refrigerator a 6.
Everything has its place, but I’d like for it to be better.

This picture ⬇️ is not my fridge, I wish it was my fridge, but it’s just from Amazon of a company selling those clear bins.

Original - Well, I thought mine was about a six...until I saw yours  I guess I'm about a four?? Most things have a sort of set place where we tend to put them. But the only plastic tray I have in there is to corral little yogurt cups.

Edited - Now that I know the picture is not supposed to be a six, I'll say mine is probably a five.

Sorry….this isn’t my fridge - I should have clarified.
I changed the original post.
I wish that was my fridge.

I would say mine is a 7. I clean it every Saturday (remove old or expired items and clean all the shelves and drawers) so it’s ready when i grocery shop Sunday morning.

Super organized - ocd person in house did it so it’s organized - lazy Susan’s / bins / etc - it’s really nice ! I hate this refrigerator the way it’s made to me is counterproductive to storing everyday items in it - you have to be organized to use it - since I hate it so much it will live forever !

7. I like to keep my fridge organized, but I don’t have matching containers and bins and racks like in the photo.

I put 3. Mainly because I picked up a few things at the store Saturday, came home & just threw the things that had to be refrigerated in the fridge still in the bags. Ice cream did make it to the freezer. Then yesterday I did make a huge pot of soup, filled up most of my plastic containers but still have some in the pot that I had no covered bowls for so that pot is taking up most of the bottom shelf. Guess that will be dinner tonight so I can empty that pot. I do have a few covered small plates balanced on other stuff too.

The bins on doors always has the same stuff. The eggs, milk, juice, and cheeses, are usually in the same spots. I keep a veggie draw for raw meats. Everything else is where it fits.

I said a 6 . I do have those square glass containers for leftovers.

The ice maker is inside a 1/4 of the left side so hard to organize like that.

Fridge is cleaned out every Wednesday because compost bin goes out Thursday morning.

Freezer a whole different story…that is a mess

I voted 5. I don’t have those bins, but I group like things together and have clear glass containers for leftovers, cut up fruit etc.

We had a side-by-side fridge in our old house, and we hated it. Felt like lots of little shelves and it was really hard to find anything. When it died (stay away from GE products), we bought a French door fridge and we liked it so much more.

We sold and moved into a new house that has...a side-by-side fridge. Back to not finding anything. I'd put our organization at a 2.

By my own modest standards it’s currently a 5 because I just spent two hours last week sorting and cleaning it, which hadn’t been done thoroughly since Christmas. Like everything else in my home, if it has a door that can be shut to conceal the mess, keeping it constantly pristine isn’t at the top of my priority list. :upsidedow

And as nice as the precision-organized fridge in the picture looks, all those little bins would drive me crazy. Every time you bought an item or stored something in a container that wasn’t exactly the right shape or size, you’d need to shift a lot of things around to find a fit for it.

Ours is tidy and pretty empty right now too. It has French doors and the top shelf is empty except for a couple dozen eggs, a container of baking soda and 2 small leftover dishes. The middle shelf only has a couple things on it too.

I'll give mine a 2 because at least the veggie and fruit bins are used appropriately. And the deli tray only has cheese. Everything else, good luck finding it.

I said a 4. It's not super full, which makes things easy to find, but we do tend to just throw stuff in wherever it'll fit. We have a French door fridge on top and a bottom drawer freezer. Hate the drawer freezer, stuff gets buried and lost and it's so hard to clean in there.
