I usually order bacon, unless I know the sausage is really good, like at Bob Evans. I make both at home also, usually get Jimmy Deans sausage patties for home. What I really miss is a good banger, British style sausage. Sometimes you can find them around St. Patrick's day, but hardly ever any other time.

I never heard it called 'Same Old Stuff.' I always heard it called **** on a Shingle. There, I said it.

I used to cook a full breakfast every Saturday & Sunday morning & sometimes for dinner during the week. That being said, since it is only me now, I rarely cook any type breakfast unless maybe a scrambled egg with toast.
I love a good slice of fried country ham but hate to cook it, lol. Mornings that I want something, I will go thru a drive thru for a sausage biscuit on the way to work. I like bacon but again, I do not like to cook it. I use the precooked bacon for sandwiches tho.
Any full breakfast that I do cook at home will always include sausage gravy & biscuits!

I love bacon but only if it is crispy or even crunchy. I rarely order it in restaurants because I HATE when it is IMO half raw which is how it is usually served to me-even after I have requested it to be extra crispy, I had even started telling them "even if you have to just about burn it, that's ok" LOL

There's one not in your poll, I think it's a regional thing, Pork Roll (Some know it as Taylor Ham). LOVE it. I used to only be able to get it at home when I visited (Philly area) but they do sell it at my local Wegman's (in Canandaigua, NY (near Rochester)

LOVE Taylor ham. I have never had it this way though. I have seen it in the store but always get the pre-sliced one (I always get the thin sliced one, not the thick - although I did when I was the most desperate for some LOL)

My favorites are a tie, bacon or sausage patties. Followed by sausage links and Taylor Pork roll. AKA Taylor Ham in North NJ.
Usually when we eat out for breakfast. At home it is sausage patties. Jimmy Dean is the one I usually buy.
