The great debate…..that toilet paper should be going under or should be going over. Some people like under because it looks nice and tidy. Some people like over because it easier to grab and tear the perforated toilet paper. So what’s your opinion on this great debate……..

How do you like your toilet paper on the dispenser?
Do you have it that way in your home?
If yes…..for every dispenser? (if you have more than one bathroom)
(multiple-choice)

For Me…… I prefer the toilet paper going under. The main reason why is because my mom always had it going under and I’m a creature of habit. My husband is the exact same way as me, and for the same reason. We have three bathrooms in our house - 2 of those have paper going under and the other one we have paper going over. The reason why one bathroom is different, is because where the toilet paper is located, it is easier to grab the toilet paper when it’s going over.

🤣🤣 I’m an over in a better stay that way in my house heads will roll if you mess with it
I work in the office out of a house and we have toilet paper wars this got started when we hired somebody about two years ago so all the live long days all day long we are switching into toilet paper back-and-forth between over and under it has always been for the 10 years I’ve been there over the roll and this little lady moves it under the roll every time she uses it she doesn’t know that I know it’s her so every time I use it I switch it back and we do this all day long every day🤣🤣🤣 the next time she goes on vacation I’m gonna wrap her desk and toilet paper

:wave2:Hey @slo - I get you. I was raised “under” too, so that’s the way I put it on. But others in the household put it over and that’s just fine with me too. I really don’t even notice unless I’m specifically looking. And why would I specifically look? For those of you that are bothered by however it hangs outside your own home - that’s really nutty. Last time we had this discussion on the CB a poster said she changes it at other people’s houses.

We prefer the tear off part at the top with the bulk of the roll at the bottom. So a flip of yhe two images lol. Whatever works indeed.

I have never cared. I apparently have the tendency to put it under, but as long as there's TP, it's no biggie.

That being said, I know some people who are VERY passionate about this matter. Some just joked around with me on the matter while others acted like not caring or putting it under was a serious breach of intelligence, etiquette, etc. You'd think I was telling these women that I don't use TP or even a bidet.

My grandmother always had it on under... fine and dandy until you get a surprise spider you couldn't see till you went to use it! That made me an always over girl. At least I could see 'em coming!

While my Disney mantra below there is no right way ....

With TP hanging there is only one right way ... and one wrong way.
