Do you enjoy hard candy?
If yes….How often do you eat hard candy?
(multiple choice)

For Me……Everyday
I love the PepOMint and WintOGreen Lifesavers - I have a bowl of them on my desk at work, and I always have some in my purse and a few in my pants pocket. Why do you ask? I have a condition that causes dry mouth, which then causes my throat to get dry, which then gives me a tickle in my throat that makes me cough uncontrollably (so embarrassing). So, when I feel that tickle starting, I hurry and pop a Lifesaver and it helps to control that. I also like Lifesavers when I’m hungry - kind of a mind game with myself - if I have something like a Lifesaver or gum in my mouth, it takes my mind off of being hungry.

Recently, my DH was told he has type 2 diabetes, so I bought him some sugar free Werther‘s Originals to keep at work. I tried one, and they were so good that I went back to the store to buy more to keep at home, for both of us, and I’ll also take some to work. I’m getting kinda bored of Lifesavers, so these will be good for me to have sometimes.

If anyone is interested in trying these sugar free candies…..I posted a picture of the bag below ⬇️

It is not something I have often at all. I do like Werthers though. A few years ago I remember buying them a few times a year.

I'm counting Altoids as hard candy. I keep them on my desk and in my car.

My favorites are the Wintergreen ones.

Grew up in the Jolly Rancher craze. Still love them but hardly ever eat them. I don't know if you can even find the original rectangular ones.

Also enjoy life savers although my mom always would tell me how easy it was to choke. Oh moms...and now I tell my kids that.

Very rarely do I eat hard candy. Not a fan.

My grandmother used to keep those hard Plantation candies in a fancy dish on a table in her living room. I don’t know if anybody ever took any. I bet they were 20 years old.

Other. I don’t mind them but I’ve cut way down on candy so if I’m going to have some, now it will be something I enjoy a lot more. Also, I lack the patience to really savour a hard candy. 15 seconds in and I’m crunching away...

I enjoy the peppermint hard candy - try and limit them - reason below
I’m a HUGE fan of Jolly Ranchers - 13 tiny cavities worth 😳 that curtailed my hard candy eating right quick - I can’t use sugar substitute as they give me migraines so I limited my hard candy - but do I love those Jolly Ranchers !!!

Guess I don't count mints (except the Starlight peppermints) like Lifesavers and Altoids as "hard candy."

We're still working remotely, but when I have to go into the office for a meeting, they always have a combination of Starlight mints, butterscotch, hard candy Lifesavers (I know, I'm inconsistent with my categorization). I don't go out of my way to buy them, but when they're there, and it's the afternoon of a looooonnnnnng meeting, sometimes it's my only choice.
