Are you right handed, left handed or ambidextrous?

For Me......I’m right handed, but if I had to function with my left hand only I can do it.
I wouldn’t call me ambidextrous though, because I’m not comfortable using my left hand. My writing with my left hand is legible, but it looks like a first grader wrote it - LOL! When I go mini-golfing I‘m always left handed, but I think that’s because my Dad is a lefty and that’s how he taught me.

I am right handed, both of my parents left handed. I deal cards left handed as I followed my mom. My 2nd cousin was left handed, born to 2 right handed parents. We used to say that we should switch parents. LOL.

Right handed. I can do some things left-handed if necessary but my right hand is definitely dominant.

When I was little, I thought all boys were left-handed (because my dad, my uncle and the boy I played with down the street were) and all girls were right-handed (because my mom, sister, aunt and cousin all were.) I was surprised to learn otherwise when I got to school. Coincidentally, the tradition continues... my son is left handed. My daughter is right handed. ;-)

Same. I can use both but my right is definitely stronger. I do some things better with my left hand but writing is best with the right hand, lol.

I'm right handed, but my Dad and Brother are left handed. I swear Dad taught me some weird form when it came to sports.....

And I know I could function okay with only my left though, I broke my right arm when I was a kid and spent a couple of months doing everything left handed.

I’m a lefty. I do most things left handed but there are things leftover from my childhood I do with my right hand like using scissors. My younger DD is also a lefty but will throw a ball or play video games right handed. Paternal grandfather and my mother’s youngest brother are/were lefties that were forced to use their right hands.

Right.....can do I few things with my left, but not well.

DH and DGD are left handed

I'm left handed, but I leaned to operate a 10 key right handed at one job.

I taught my kids to write, and my poor oldest is right handed but curls her hand around like a lefty 🤣

Very, very right-handed. I have to actually stop and concentrate on the motions if I need to use my left hand for anything that requires fine motor coordination. For example, it’s very difficult for me to use my left to polish the nails on my right. I have to be looking at my left and thinking through the motions to make it work. I am also an extremely left-brain dominant thinker/processor and I’ve read before that has a lot to do with it.

I'm right handed, but come from a family of lefties, and they are always saying that the advent of EZ Pass took away the one place that lefties always had the advantage, tossing coins in a toll basket.

Right handed, although my natural swing (e.g. baseball) is left handed for some reason, meaning I throw right but bat left. I actually golf right handed (because my grandfather gave me right handed golf clubs when I was a kid) but I putt left handed.

I’m right handed.

My mother was a lefty who was forced to write with her right hand in school back in the late 1930’s.

I’m right handed but could survive if forced to live left handedness.

I play ping pong left-handed, but that's literally the only thing, and I have no idea why it works out that way, lol.

How do left handed people write without smearing ink?
Most write “upside down” curling their hand over the top of the pen. I never did and the edge of my hand was permanently stained with ink in my school days. DD doesn’t either but they also do the vast majority of work on computers now so it hasn’t been a big issue for her.

You don’t 🤣 The side of my hand constantly had ink in it when I was in school.

I’m a lefty. So is DH and my mom. We all use the 10-key right handed.

I did learn to write with my right hand when I broke my left arm in 6th grade, but it’s not any quality I’d brag about.

This is me, too!

I'm left-handed, extremely so. I can't write or draw with my right hand at all. I usually put a piece of tracing paper under my left hand when I'm drawing so that I don't smear it. My handwriting also leans to the left.

It came in handy when I broke my right arm in 2019 and had to have a rod inserted.
