Have to had the Medicine Ball Tea at Starbucks?
If yes….what’s your thoughts on this hot drink?

For Me……I love it!
This hot tea is marketed to sick people to help them feel better.
My DD18 started buying this a few years ago when she had a sinus infection or a cold and she swears it makes her feel better (I’m sure just like chicken soup makes some people feel better when they are sick). One day I tried a sip of her tea and it was really good, so now I order one once in awhile just because I like it (I’m thinking of getting one today). If you like tea, give it a try.

Never heard of it, but worth giving it a try if I feel under the weather!

I've never heard of it before, but I don't like tea... so I probably won't try it.

Never heard of it. I only go to Starbucks when at Disney parks and then only get iced tea.

I'm a tea snob.

I have my tea shipped from Whittard of Chelsea in England. It's the best tea I've ever had, though I've had some very good tea from Harrod's basement, too. Whittard often runs specials for when you spend £60 - £70. They will send very nice size tea cups, sometimes a tea brewing cup, or a number of other things. I wait and order when they have those specials. To me, it's worth the $12-13 shipping to get a large order once or twice a year.

I'll try the medicine ball, though, especially for my DH, although, I'm going in with low expectations. It will be nice to be pleasantly surprised.

Love tea, but not herbal teas, never heard of this. Like the idea of healing teas. but I also never go to Starbucks. maybe once/year if that, unless just taking my daughter.

I just looked up what this is. Here is the recipe for it...

At Starbucks a Medicine Ball consists of: 1 Teavana Jade Citrus Mint green tea bag, 1 Teavana Peach Tranquility herbal tea bag, 2 honey packets, 1/2 hot water, 1/2 steamed unsweetened lemonade. There is debate among baristas if there are shots of peppermint syrup added, but this is the basic recipe.

It doesn't sound that good to me. I think I'll pass. If I have a sore throat and runny nose, I'll send someone to the liquor store for Rock 'n Rye... the generationally passed down cure.

I’ve never heard of it but I’m not a tea drinker so I doubt I’ll ever try it. I’ll have to ask my dd if she’s had it as she frequents Starbucks a lot and worked there for a semester while she was at college.

Have not had it because I usually only get cappuccinos at Starbucks. Those are also only a special treat while on vacation or out for a special occasion. Now I have something new to try, so thanks for this post Slo!

Not a hot tea fan I’ll go with some chicken soup but if it works for you great ! Vicks vapor rub works for me - sore throats are the worse !!

I have heard of it, but never tried it. I usually don't care for mint-flavored teas, so I'm not sure I would like this one, but I'm willing to try it.

I almost never go to Starbucks, so am unlikely to try it. Also not the biggest fan of green or herbal teas. The best things I've found for cough/sore throat are gluhwein and this honey citron tea stuff.

I'm also a tea snob, but I order from Simpson and Vail and Dammann Freres and pick up loose leaf pretty much anywhere I travel.

I rarely go to Starbucks, but my kids go all the time. I’d definitely try it when feeling poorly. Hadn’t heard of it.

You couldn't pay me to step foot in a Starbucks, I don't like their coffee and hate that they bought out Teavana (which I used to love to go to). I only drink loose leaf tea and rarely drink herbal tea so not for me.
