It’s amazing how many types of cereal there are - the grocery aisle is filled with them. Personally, it’s my favorite grocery aisle in the store. I love love love cereal. I can, and have, eaten a bowl of cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner. How about you? Give us your cerealry good answer today……

For Me……As I mentioned above, I ❤️ cereal! I enjoy all types of cereal, but I don’t buy the super sugary ones anymore, and I’m not supposed to eat ones with a lot of fiber (bad for my UC). The main cereals I buy are Life, Chex (all flavors) and Cheerios (flavored ones, not the plain). I mainly eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, but I will eat it for lunch and dinner too.

I have a bowl of corn Chex Every morning no milk Often times I will have some at night when I don’t feel like cooking anything or maybe I just want a little snack
I used to eat honey nut Cheerios but switched over to the corn Chex MF stuck with them for the last decade
 

I love an occasional bowl of cereal with milk! I usually buy Cheerios (plain) or Rice Krispies, but once in a while, I'll splurge on one of the sugary holiday ones for nostalgia's sake.

Cereal alone for breakfast doesn't keep me full all morning, but I will sometimes have a small bowl as "pre-breakfast" on the weekends when I know I'll be eating later than normal because DH and DS are sleeping in.

I'll also sometimes have it for part of my dinner when they're not home and I don't want to actually cook,

and I've had dry cereal as a snack.

I like cold cereal, I am just out of the habit of eating it. Back in the day when Special K was kind of a craze, I would have it for breakfast and/or lunch.

I love cereal - it's one of my favroite things. For a long time now, it tends to be my evening snack - kind of like dessert, but a little closer to bed time. The gold standard is Fruity Pebbles, though I do try to keep it on the healthier side a lot with something like mini-wheats or crunchy raisin bran.

It's just okay. I hardly ever buy or eat it. Anytime we have a box, it always sits there forever and eventually I have to toss the remaining. If I have yogurt (which is also rare), I like to mix in a bit of granola. Other than that, I eat any cereal dry. If I had to choose one to have, probably cheerios is at the top of the list - the plain original ones.

I'll have cold cereal for breakfast several days a week. I usually have a granola cereal except when blueberries are in season. Then I like Cheerios with blueberries. :)

I really like, love cereal. Cold or hot. I don't have it as often as I used to, carbs, but still really like it. And I like most. I also like oatmeal and grits.

I recall, many years back, a cereal discussion here on the DIS. I had mentioned that I liked oatmeal with a little sugar and cream. And that I had tried grits every so often but didn't like as much as oatmeal. A DIS'er, @snuggles (Ann), who was from Valdosta, GA, asked what I put on the grits. I said a little sugar and some cream. She said no, no! Try some butter, a little pepper, maybe a little shredded cheese. I tried that, always good DIS advice here, and voilà! Worked great. Excellent advice from 'down South!

My most favorite cereal of all time, but I don’t buy it anymore.
 
I only pick it up once or twice a year because I get terrible migraines from it but Sugar Smacks is my absolute favorite, it reminds me of those multipacks that were too expensive when I was a kid and the joy of visiting someone's house and getting one - pure gold.
 
Every morning, if I don’t have it than I will have it for lunch…lol

My husband and I often have it for dinner if we had a late lunch.

I will have it sometimes at night watching tv.

When we are on vacation we will buy a box for the hotel and buy milk when we get there. Cheap breakfast . Use coffee cups for bowls.
 
I love cold cereal, but I haven’t eaten it in years. It’s really not good for my diet. Too many WW points. ☹️
 
I alternate between cold cereal and eggs for breakfast. I eat Special K with berries and Honey Bunches with Almonds and add blueberries or banana.
I have tried several times to eat oatmeal but after a few bites it makes me gag.
