🍁🦃🧡 HAPPY THANKSGIVING FRIENDS! 🧡🦃🍁
I hope you all have a blessed and enjoyable Thanksgiving today.

Today we’re going to talk Turkey, which is the main event today. I’ve worked closely with the public for 38 years and it always surprises me with how many people don’t like turkey. I know many families that don’t serve it for Thanksgiving - they make a Prime Rib Roast or Ham.

There’s also the great debate on which type of meat everyone likes - white vs dark? Some don’t care what they eat and others feel very passionately about one or the other.

So let’s find out how you all feel this Thanksgiving Day. Give us your gobbly good answer today…..

What is your opinion of turkey?
Do you like white meat or dark meat?
(multiple choice)

For Me……I’m a turkey lover all year long. I love it today, I love it when I make a small turkey breast throughout the year and I love the turkey lunchmeat I buy every week. Our town butcher sells turkey lunchmeat that is turkey breasts they cook on site, so it’s not processed - it’s good stuff!

In regards to white vs dark - I’m a white meat girl. I don’t hate dark meat though, I will eat it, but will never choose it if I don’t have to. Today my DH is making one small turkey and two turkey breasts - there will be no shortage of meat and we’ll have a lot leftover, which I’m excited about. I make these little turkey sliders with the leftovers that are really good.

Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!🍗
I like turkey 3 times a year, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
White meat only.

When we celebrated Thanksgiving last month, I froze some leftovers and we are busting them out tonight for dinner. :P

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!

I do like turkey and white meat. I can tolerate the dark but why lol....great, comforting side dishes. Being Italian - someone always requests baked ziti or lasagna.....:teeth: as a side dish as if everything else was not enough to fill you up. I used to tell my mom let's make something lighter and here I am doing the same

Love some turkey sandwiches a day or two later and love to freeze some leftovers for a later date.

And pies.....love the pies/desserts :)

Turkey is ok. I will have a small piece of white meat. I’m not much of a meat eater. We also usually serve walnut loaf, which is a vegetarian brown rice meatloaf type meal. I will also have that and all the sides.

I like turkey, but on Thanksgiving it's more about the sides. Generally don't eat don't eat dark meat:) Y'all have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving, Everyone!!

We like turkey, although a smoked turkey from Sam's will be served for Thanksgiving as the family, in general, seems to prefer this. However... I have a 49-center in the freezer for later in the year. I prefer the thigh meat for turkey dinner, breast meat for sliced or salad sandwiches.

Happy Thanksgiving! I love turkey, especially with a little cranberry sauce. The family all loves the white meat, which works well for me being a dark meat lover!
