I am not sure I had a four color one. There were others that had way more than four colors in them. With a much bigger barrel of course too. I did have one of those way back when. Those types of pens were more novelty gifts and not typically used often.

Yep. I loved using those.

The mean nuns in Catholic school didn’t appreciate them and would often confiscate them if they were in bad moods.

When I went to public school for junior high it was great being able to use green ink without fearing the potential wrath of the teacher.

But I probably gave up using them by mid high school.

I had one when I was a kid. I remember it being a fad at my school to have them, and for once I got to participate in the fad because they were either cheap to buy or they were given to us by a relative.

Nowadays I stick to Bic Round Stic pens with black ink. I only use black ink-I find that blue ink doesn't dry fast enough for me being a lefty. It gets on the heel of my hand.

I remember them, but don't recall if I ever owned one. I have vague memories of someone in one of my classes having to redo a paper because they wrote it in red ink.

I've had three in the past. The points never worked on all the colors. I tried two in the past when they first came out. And one a few years ago, when I came across them again. I figured maybe the company improved the flow on the ball point? But no, the ink still doesn't come out well, or not at all on all the colors.

Oh, for sure I had one of those! I also had the highly-coveted 10 or 12 colored pen. That was the only elementary gift-swap item that was wanted more than the Lifesaver Story Book!

For me it was one of those things that seemed like it would be neat, but when I had one it turned out to be one of those pens I didn't like using, always kind of smudgy and leaving blobs of ink. After I got it I noticed that was common to all the ones the other kids had, too and I just overlooked it until I had my own.

Yes, I used these as a kid. For assignments we were only allowed to use blue or black ink, but for writing notes we could use any color.

I actually have one of these pens right now that I use. I got it in the mail from The Humane Society (a part of their 'free gift' package asking for donations). I was probably more excited about it than I should have been, a real blast from the past.

We use them now where I work. I also had one that had like, 10 colors as a kid

Banned in my school as they were too showy, too fancy and distracting but the thrill of the power of a red pen in my hand:wizard:

Loved them as a kid and now - I have the traditional colors as well as the pastels.

Always wanted one, but never actually owned one! I did borrow my friends', though!
