I don't iron clothes......well, very rarely.
I do iron table clothes and palce mats after they are washed. Maybe once a year.

I probably iron every day. Or what I call "pressing off" something. I cannot STAND wrinkles but I don't need sharp creases or anything. I'm not sure why but all my clothes seem to be a wrinkled mess and it's been much worse seen I have the front loading machines.

I wear a lot of wrinkly cotton I guess. Just this morning, I pulled pulled out my San Diego white cotton T-shirt and it's just so wrinkled so I had to get those wrinkles out or I just look like a slob.

Anyway, my biggest problem now is finding an iron that gets hot enough for my cottons/linens and work clothes. I used to have a Rowenta that was great. It died and I got a new one and it was not great (despite still being a German Rowenta). On many recommendations, I bought a Chi iron and it's just awful.

I was going to post here for suggestions but it looks like no one irons so I guess I won't, lol!
I am doing everything I can to keep my 25+ year Rowenta alive. I have heard the same thing that the newer ones just aren't made the same.

Read some decent reviews on PurSteam irons, but it will be hard to match an old Rowenta. If you find a winner, shoot me a message.

I don't iron. My wife irons about once a year, usually some sort of formal wear. Almost everything we own is permanent press.

When needed we do dry cleaning for dress shirts, for everyday stuff it is every now and then. I am awful at ironing and it is excruciating between the standing and bending.

Will do. I've been actually reading about irons on the Quilting sub-reddit (apparently quilters need really hot irons). They seem to like the Chi so I don't know if I can trust them, but there seems to be a lot of love for a lower-priced Black and Decker iron so I might give that a try.

My husband has to wear dress pants and shirts to work so I iron. I super hate it. I would rather clean 5 bathrooms. He does have a ton of work clothing so I only need to iron once every 2 months or so (they all wait on hangers in the laundry room until I finally say there's too many and I have to iron now). Sometimes I can get away with drying alone or steaming but most of the time I have to pull out the iron. I've hated it since I was a kid.

Rarely iron anything anymore. For our two weddings last fall (daughter’s and granddaughter’s) I steamed my outfits.

I iron as needed. I don't like to wear wrinkled clothes. I don't iron as much as I used to, since there are so many wrinkle-free fabrics available. But I don't mind it, too much. ;)
This. I’m very fussy about it; I don’t like a lot of perms-press stuff because it tends to be slouchy and not crisp. We send DH’s shirts out to the cleaners for wash and press (light starch :goodvibes ) and that’s cut my ironing by over half.

I can't remember the last time I ironed clothes. I did do some iron-on pictures on a onesie a few years back for a baby shower thing, but that's it.

dyk one of my weekly chores growing up was ironing my dad's work shirts. I hated it. Hated.

dyk today "doesn't need to be ironed" is something Iook for in clothing. I'm willing to deal with a few wrinkles and will try a steamer or Downy Wrinkle Release before reaching for an iron. I do end up ironing occasionally, but rarely. DH still likes some of his work shirts ironed, but he irons his own.

I do the wet dishcloth in the dryer trick which usually works! I see someone above does the same. LOLI
But I did answer YES. I own an iron and every once in a while I will iron an item because it'll make me feel better knowing it's been pressed!
I grew up ironing from a young age. We even had an ironing board that came out of the wall. My dad was a teacher and back in the day that meant dress shirt and tie. It was part of my weekly allowance requirement to iron dad's shirts. Thankfully, my mom wasn't one to iron sheets or underwear!

I have a few pieces of clothing that need to be ironed before I wear them. I've had a lot of bad irons over the years, from very expensive to very cheap. I have a Sunbeam now, which I really like and has been faithful to me for a long time.

When we first got married (and were broke) I would religiously iron DH's shirts and Army uniforms. As we started earning more, we switched over to the dry cleaner because it's a job I HATE. All of my clothes are wash-and-wear or dry-clean only.

I can't remember the last time I ironed everything. We're moving and we're getting rid of our 30+ year old ironing board. If we need it, we'll buy another one.

I used to have to iron weekly as my uniform shirts needed to be ironed. Since changing roles, its about every other week I get enough clothes to iron.

I really don't wear anything that would need ironed but I do have a steam type iron just in case. I'm not sure I've ever used it though.

I rarely iron anymore. I used to at least once a week years ago. I don't buy clothes that requires a lot of attention, especially ironing. My daughter on the other hand buys clothes that need ironing. She hates doing it so that might have put an end to it.

I don't iron anything. Very little of what I wear needs to be ironed, if it does I beg my wife to do it for me. I don't know how to iron anything well, and the only things I have that need to be ironed are expensive clothes I'm not willing to risk to learn how. On occasion I have thrown things back in the dryer, hang the clothes in the bathroom with a hot shower going, or use a steamer.

Used to iron almost weekly years ago when I had a job that required dressier clothes. I despise it, am not good at it and luckily rarely need to do it anymore.

Rarely iron anything anymore. Most modern fabrics tend to not wrinkle and come out of the dryer ready to wear. Dryer also has a 'steam' cycle where you put in something to eliminate wrinkles when necessary. Seems years ago people would iron everything, but items like sheets/bedding/towels aren't something we have ever ironed and don't see the need to.
