slo’s FRIDAY the 13th poll - Unlucky Day 1️⃣3️⃣

For many people don’t like Friday the 13th because they feel like bad things happen on this day. Some people get very nervous about having to be out and about today, When my DH was on the town volunteer fire department they did dread this day and full moons - he swears that crazy things happen on this day, For more explanation about this, here ya go…….



So what are your thoughts about this? Give us your scray unlucky answer today…….

For Me…….i don’t believe in superstitions, so Friday the 13th is just another day for me.

45 years ago my oldest DS was born at exactly 9pm so I have different views of Friday the 13th.

Although I generally DO have a fear of the number 13... Friday the 13th doesn't phase me. I think the fact it's Friday cancels out the number 13. Monday the 13th, that sounds SO much worse

I was scheduled to fly to Florida on Friday the 13th and everybody thought I was insane I wasn’t worried about it I didn’t have to worry about it though because a hurricane came through and I had to fly out on Saturday the 14th and then everybody thought I was insane to go to Disney because a hurricane just came through I thought it’s fine and it was fine but Saturday the 14th to me his always been worse than Friday the 13th my bad luck seems to just miss the 13th and come the next day on the 14th

SLO, I agree with Kevin crazy things go on during full moons in Friday the 13th especially full moons go to hospital and ask them they’ll tell you the same thing not sure why but it happens and what’s really interesting if you look this date up in history a lot of bad things happened on it kind of crazy

Doesn't bother me at all, half the time when it happens I'm not even aware it's Friday the 13th. I would say I don't believe in superstitions, which is mostly true. The only exception is any time I leave my property, no matter where I'm going, I have to wear something Disney. Doesn't matter what it is, could be a pair of ear rings, a T-shirt, a purse, just anything. That is probably more of habit than superstition though.

I admit, I get a little nervous on Friday, 13th. Do i logically believe it is unluckier than any other day? No. But superstitions aren't logical, they're emotional.

DH is flying back from and business trip today and I don’t love that.

Friday the 13th had a positive association for me because my grandmother was born on one.


(Oddly, I do tend to avoid leaving the television volume on 13, though. So I guess I'm not totally immune to superstition.)

I don't believe in superstitions either, even though it happened to be a Friday the 13th, years ago, when my wife got her cancer diagnosis. One of those things you never forget the date.
