Just made some yesterday in fact. 😎

My favorite is butter and camp mix on it! -

Growing up my Mom and my Grandparents would only boil it. Imagine my surprise when I started cooking it on the BBQ - SOOO much better! I will never boil CotC again. CotC in the air fryer is fantastic too. You'll want to dial back the seasoning if you do that because the air fryer retains flavor better.

That's the best way to cook it. I've never understood whey some people - ahem, my mom - will peel the corn then wrap it in foil for the grill. It already has a wrapper! 🤣
AND the natural wrapper makes the corn taste better.

Love a sweet bi-color corn on the cob that has been sold at our local farmers market. Alas, the corn people have not been back for a few years. Always so, so sweet you can eat it plain or with butter !!
AND yes, microwave for 2 minutes with husks on.....yum

Like it and the best tasting corn is in the summer when it is freshly picked. Many other times of the year it tastes tough/chewy and has no flavor.
Correct. Fresh corn is like fresh seafood. Heavenly. Old corn is nasty.

We usually have it twice a week in season.I usually microwave it wrapped in wax paper. Our favorite is sweet white corn. We have a local farm market where they grow it from July to September .In late May / June they usually have Southern corn.

Love cob on corn (my crazy families’ name for corn on the cob). Butter and salt only please!

Im heading out to Rehoboth Beach later and I've had eastern shore corn on my mind since last week. My SO, who is from the midwest swears by midwest corn. That's the funniest thing I ever heard.

Eastern Shore corn is THE BEST. I hope you get some--mostly their growing season is later in July but my god it's worth just driving out there to get it.

I'm late to this thread, but I love good corn on the cob.

We MICROWAVE it in the husk and it comes out perfect every time. I nuke it 1 minute per ear, flip them and then 1 minute more per ear. Sometimes my DH will husk it and finish on the grill for a nice charred flavor. I stopped boiling corn once my step father accidentally spilled boiling hot corn water on himself and burned himself quite dreadfully :(.

Love it, eat often at home. 💛🌽 Butter and Salt added.

I cut mine off the cob, so I avoid other than home.

NOTE: I boil my corn with about 2 tablespoons of sugar. Even if your corn isn't very sweet the sugar helps change that.

WE put cream cheese on our corn, try it.

Just might, I put it in mashed potatoes if I have in house.

Corn is one of those weird things for me, I love corn on it's own but mostly hate corn added into any other dish. And corn pudding will send me out of a room.
