No huggie for me. Now if the question was phrased about hugging my dog, then it changes to over hug.

Thank you for the Thank you!Yes, we are a hugging family, all of us., Marie, me, Vince, Natalie, the grandkids. One of the grandkids is a little more hesitant, but still is a hugger, maybe between a 2 and 3 for him. I'm between a 1 and a 2, leaning to 1. Marie the same
Looking above, I know I've given at least once, and got one back from @slo, @Kitty 34 and @luvmarypoppins. Maybe more than once? How about you Ron @Micca there at the Hyatt, a hug, a bro hug, a fist bump or a handshake? Nancy @Meriweather? @Minnesota!, if I see you on one of your Chicago trips here, I'll steer clear, a wave from across the street?![]()

Oh, @TiggerTrigger , I think we are soul mates here!NOT A HUGGER!!!
I'm also another one that doesn't really like people even touching me unless you know me well enough to be in my personal space. It is for this reason that things like the following (but not limited to) have zero appeal, to the point of being full on cringeworthy.
- Manicures
- Pedicures
- Massages
- Physical Therapy
- Chiropractic care
- Professional Hair Care
- Pro lashes/brow work
- Facials
- Pro make up session
I'm sure there's more, but this is what's immediately coming to mind that makes my skin crawl.
Probably a handshake, was fist bumping a thing back then??? I will say I would happily hug many Dis friends that I've never met in IRL.How about you Ron @Micca there at the Hyatt, a hug, a bro hug, a fist bump or a handshake?

Yeah, for me the borders of personal space aren't always clear. I had a supervisor who brought her mom in to meet her co-workers. My desk was on a raised platform, and I was introduced to her and she said "I'm a hugger, not a hand shaker" as she walked up the one step to my desk and gave me a hug. Was it a violation of my personal space? Yeah. Was it a genuine display of who she was, yes. That kind of canceled out the personal space violation.I’m a hugger. #1 on the hug scale. I am mindful of personal space, but if you’re my friend or family member, I am coming in for the hug.![]()
