Slide at Boardwalk

After hearing that the BWI slide was going to be closed in September I called the IPO at BWI to confirm. The slide will be down (no for sure dates) in September. If it is closed during your trip, they will allow you to use the pools at BC/YC (Stormalong Bay)

We won't be there until Nov. I really hope the renovations are complete then. We love the Epcot resorts and I was planning on going back to the YC when DS chimed in and requested we return to the BWI as he loves the pool slide. We are now booked into the Inn, here's hoping for a speedy completion.

We'll be there at the very end of September and I love the Keister Coaster! I really hope it is finished and perhaps mine will be one of the first Keisters to coaster down it. Thanks for the information though. I also wouldn't mind a second crack at SAB though b/c as I posted somewhere else around here for some freaky reason my DS wasn't too crazy about SAB. Go figure

I'm with you. We had a hard time choosing a resort. Dh wanted the BWI and I heard the concierge is better there, but SAB seems so awesome for the (7) kids.

Wow, that's awesome news! DH and I are staying at BWV at the end of Sept. and I was so disappointed when I saw that the slide was going to be closed.....if we can use Stormalong Bay though, that more than makes up for it

We are DVC and twice when they pool was closed for rehab we got to use the SAB..guess this would be available to anyone staying at the BW ...have to say it was great...Disney provided a small boat similar to a pon =toon to take us over to swim...we did have to show our room key tho...Enjoy...

Maybe that creepy clown slide swallowed some poor, unsuspecting kid and Disney will finally change the theme of the pool.

Sorry, but clowns give me the creeps and I don't think we'll ever stay at Boardwalk because of that!

I will be at the BWI on Thurs (9/15) for 3 nights. I'll check it out and keep you posted. My 3 DSs are going to be disappointed I fear, they were looking forward to the clown slide.

I'm going this Friday. I'm disappointed. I could have picked the BCV to stay but my son chose the freaky clown slide I don't have the heart to break it to him. I also hate shelping all my stuff to another pool.

I know when they closed SAB for rehab we got to use BW pool so I assume they will do the same for BW guests.
