Skype users - help getting started

I'm thinking hard about giving up one of the land lines (my home office one) for Skype. It would save me at least $30/month from what I can tell. I don't even use it that much (maybe two calls a week), I do mostly everything over email but have to have a phone number.

So, I need a headset. There seem to be complaints about the voice quality over the really cheap ones. Can anyone who uses Skype now recommend a decent headset that won't eat up all my savings. Thanks

I have use this one and it works fine. Usually any static or delay I hear is from another continent.
